🐾 Humanity Over Vanity 🐾
At our salon, we believe in beauty—but never at the expense of your dog’s comfort. While we love a long, fluffy coat as much as anyone, that look must be maintained with regular brushing. Because here’s the truth: matting isn’t just a cosmetic issue—it pulls at the skin, causes pain, and in severe cases, injures the skin and even restricts movement and blood circulation.
We will not subject a dog to painful dematting for the sake of aesthetics. Routine brushing and light detangling? Absolutely. But heavy dematting? That’s a hard no. Matting isn’t just unsightly—it’s uncomfortable, damaging, and in some cases, outright cruel to pick apart. We are not in the business of putting dogs through pain for profit. Period.
We’ll always do routine brushing and minor detangling—because that’s part of a healthy grooming process. But if your dog arrives with a matted coat, they will be humanely shaved. No exceptions, no negotiations.
We’re here to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy. If you’d like your pup to rock a longer look, they’ll need to arrive in a condition that supports that. Not there yet? No judgment—we offer brush-out services, sell brushes and combs, and are more than happy to show you how to maintain their coat between grooms.
There are groomers out there who’ll put a dog through agony to keep up appearances. We are proudly not one of them.
Comfort over cosmetics. Always.
