πŸ•THE WOMEN OF CATEMACO HAVE FOUND MORE DOGS TO SPAY! WE CAN STOP YEARS OF FUTURE SUFFERING FOR 45 dogs and thousands of unwanted pups and kittens if you help us today!!!!!

Want to make a difference?

We have 13 spays sponsored right now. Dr Elida can do a maximum of 45 on Sunday in Catemaco, she now says.We have 4 women with about 16 animals on standby but there are more animals needing surgeries to stop them reproducing. Some are strays and some are the dogs of low income families who cannot afford the low cost spay campaigns.
Yesterday we bought 20 bandages of 15cm and 5 big ones of 30cm

There are so easily 45 dogs and cats who could be spayed or neutered Sunday but we would need a further 32 sponsored.

If you are in any position to afford to help us with some much needed humane population control in Catemaco

Please send your $35 to [email protected]

^ this is was 45 spays looks like^

In 12 months this could be 450 unwanted babies or double that if we don't take action.

Please be part of this amazing project.
Sharing posts is great tooβ™‘ Not everyone can afford to sponsor a spay and we know that.
But you know what? $5 helps too!

NEED A BUDDY TO RIDE SHOTGUN?

Martin likes riding in cars.
Sometimes he puts his nose by the crack in the window to smell the smells, but right now he is lying down being lazy

BANDAGES GAUZE AND ADHESIVE TAPE, OH MY!

Want to make a difference?

We have 5 spays sponsored right now. Dr Elida can do a maximum of 35 on Sunday in Catemaco. We have 4 women with about 12 animals on standby but there are more animals needing surgeries to stop them reproducing. Some are strays and some are the dogs of low income families who cannot afford the low cost spay campaigns.
Today we bought 20 bandages and we are buying another 5 big ones.

There are so easily 35 dogs and cats who could be spayed or neutered Sunday but we would need a further 30 sponsored. Right now we would be thrilled to even get another 11 sponsored to at least cover the 5 Adoracion strays, Paula's 6, 5 cats and a low income post partum.
We at least don't want to let these animals down.

Morning Everyone β™‘

We have 1 spay sponsored so far and unless we get some spays sponsored we are not going to be able to help these animal in need to stop reproducing. We are seeking your help. We know $35 is not nothing and yet each $35 can save hundreds from future suffering by getting one out of the gene pool this week.
It is crucial. You can do a lot of good.

Dulce is hard work. She has a disability and needs proper floor traction. She plays and plays 'tug of war' all day. Expects two tasty meals. Will take your hand off for a strawberry or piece of cooked carrot. Very affectionate. Barks if she wants to go p*e. Tries to steal other dogs sleep spots. Gets stuck down the back of the sofa.
Got so excited to have a strawberry that p**p shot out of her rear end as she bit down on the tasty strawberry.

Would YOU foster this dog?

Lives life to the max....tries to play in the raised garden vegetables. Loves digging in soil. Likes her ears rubbed. Walks make her so so happy.
She is very very happy and engaged with life. You'll never be lonely again!!!!! Today her body was able to hold off on p**ping until she was outdoors. She really tries. Would suit an early riser. Can come with a pen provided for her and we can organize some washable rugs and reimburse all the laundry liquid you're going to need. No p*e pads for Dulce because she wants to just rip them into little pieces.
We were told in Mexico by one vet that she was 11 years old and by another that she was 7-8 years old. We now suspect she may be younger as she is very playful and has great teeth.
This was the dog who was pregnant with 14 puppies who had been, according to a Mexican taxi driver, hit by a vehicle a long time previously. She was big as a beach ball but thin and sitting in leaf litter around the side of an abandoned house in Catemaco...

Anyway she was adopted and then returned, after she overdid things a bit and had no floor traction after some ill advised zoomies.
Since then we have been assessing her further.

She would just love to spend all day pottering around a garden with you.
She barks at cats and loves all dogs but some more dignified dogs find her a pest. She steals their beds, launches herself at them on the sofa to get herself a comfy spot.
She doesn't weigh much but sometimes doesn't want to go into her night pen. So you'll have to unceremoniously pick her up and pop her in there.
Better than waking up to a p**p Picasso on your kitchen floor. The pen limits her movement and better chance she holds it until morning.

SPONSOR A SUNDAY SPAY FOR $35
[ To sponsor the full spay event of 35 animals would cost $1400 cad in entirety]

We do not have them resources to intake more puppies so let's prevent births so that all the adult and elderly dogs can get adopted without competition.

PAULA MORALES HAS BEEN TRACKING UNSPAYED DOGS IN HER COLONIA

β˜†We currently have a few local rescuers like Paula and Adoracion who are gathering strays and the dogs of very low income people who cannot afford to pay to spay. Some of the dogs were in heat recently. So it is very important to spay them. These are just the ones on Paula's list and you can sponsor their spay by name of dog if you would like to do so. These are just a few of the animals. Isabel has 4 cats to bring and of course Adoracion will be the most likely to round up dogs living on the streets with no families since she does a lot of outreach.β™‘

It's best that strays and village dogs cannot reproduce so there are less dogs in dire circumstances. Dr Elida will be in Catemaco Sunday at Adoracions cousin Tere's property for a field spay clinic.
It's a miracle these pups lived. They are safe with us but have no home, no real family.

Sweet old Sombra has been with us since 2017 and is the dog who has been the longest with Flying Dogs Canada Rescue. She was rescued as a young adult. Her companion is one of the shelter catsβ™‘ She really enjoys her walks. She doesn't usually immerse herself in water.

Yes, she is adoptable.

PIRATE JACK

Jack also went to the lake today. He uses a 4 wheel wheelchair. However he was pulled to the lake using a cart and then spent some time in the water β™‘

Jack is up for adoption and would do best in a warmer part of Canada since he needs a lot of washes which is maybe easier in a garden on a sunny day.
