Apparently, this IKEA Canada bookshelf is the safest option for a kitten nursery as per Penelope! 😺

Since day 1, she kept moving the books out of it so she was probably preparing the kitten nursery already! Ever since we placed the kittens there, Penelope is very relaxed and happy 🥰

The question I get asked all of the time is : will my cats know the advent calendar is for them?

The answer is YES! All the toys have catnip and the treats are kept in paper bags so cats can easily smell all the yummy treats!

This video is our previous foster Chai with his own calendar! He couldn’t wait to get his daily surprises! 🎄

Share in the comments how your cats reacted to their Catcouver advent calendar in the previous years 😺

And if you haven’t already, it’s not too late to get one for your cats! Link in the bio

The babies are 1 week old today! 🩵 they are doing very well and growing quickly! Penelope is doing well too but over the last couple of days, she started moving them out of the mama box again. She was bringing them to the bookshelf she always loved so we decided to set it up properly for her and her babies. So far, she seems satisfied! 🥰

Most of you know already that Penelope has given birth last Sunday morning to 6 beautiful kittens! We have one tuxedo, one torbie, one tabby with white and 3 tabbies! I believe only the torbie is a female and all of the others are male. (I have to double check though) It took Penelope maybe one day to adjust but everyone is doing well otherwise 🩵
