Late season frost and freeze may damage your perennials so cover them up. Indoors, start seeds for tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, pumpkin, snap beans, squash, and sweet corn.

Time to order your vegetable seeds. Stock up on seed trays and soil mixes. Clean and sharpen your tools. If the ground is workable, plant perennials (asparagus, artichoke, horseradish, and rhubarb). For indoors, plant seeds for broccoli, cabbage, kale, lettuce, spinach, and onions.
