You might’ve noticed we went completely silent for a while.
After years of pouring my heart into The Pawsitive Collection, I suddenly had to take a sabbatical- without the chance to properly explain why.
The truth is, life hit all at once.
It started with a notice from Health Canada, asking small CBD-based pet businesses like ours to pause operations while regulations evolved. What was meant to be a short compliance review turned into a full shutdown - and for a small, heart-driven business like mine, that was devastating.
Around the same time, I became a mom. Navigating motherhood - the sleepless nights, the identity shift, and the learning curves - demanded all the energy I had left. I wanted to show up fully for my baby, and that meant putting my business, (and myself) on pause.
And then… we lost our fur baby, the heart behind Pawsitive Co.
Rocky wasn’t just our dog - he was one of the inspirations that fueled my passion for creating products that make pets’ lives better. Losing him while in postpartum felt like losing a piece of myself.
That season forced me to slow down, reflect and heal - not just as a founder, but as a mother, a pet parent and a human trying to find balance again.
Now, I’m back - and so is The Pawsitive Collection.
This comeback isn’t just about reopening the shop.
It’s about rebuilding with intention, compassion, and authenticity.
Every product, every ingredient, every decision moving forward is guided by experience and love.
