Some homes just make my heart happy to clean 💛

There’s nothing more satisfying than stepping back and seeing those floors shine! It’s not just cleaning — it’s creating comfort and peace in someone’s space 💛

This is exactly why I love what I do ✨🧼

Because this is an old Vancouver Character Home, it does require great care and attention to certain areas. The only products I use to clean the main areas of the home are floor wash, all purpose spray, glass cleaner and dish soap.

🧼 Today I experienced something that no customer should ever go through.

While shopping at the Soap Dispensary on Main Street—a place I’ve supported and spent good money at for years—I was racially profiled, accused of lying, and treated like a thief over a simple misunderstanding.

As a Black woman and a small business owner, I know what respect, honesty, and integrity look like. I bring those values into every cleaning job I do. To be met with such blatant discrimination while trying to shop for supplies was deeply upsetting and completely unacceptable.

I will not be returning, and I will not support businesses that treat people like this—especially those of us who are simply trying to go about our day.

If you believe in supporting local businesses that are respectful, inclusive, and accountable—please choose wisely. We deserve better.

Now I’ll have to find somewhere else to buy my products.
