I genuinely don’t even know what to say.

Seeing Sudsy Paws Dog Grooming listed as a nominee for Specialized Service Business of the Year feels completely surreal.

I built Sudsy Paws because I wanted to do grooming differently. I wanted to create a space where dogs didn’t have to fit into the “normal” grooming process. Where the anxious ones, the fearful ones, the reactive ones, the seniors, the disabled dogs, and the dogs who just need a little more patience could be met where they are.

There have been a lot of moments where I’ve questioned myself, overthought everything, stressed about whether I was doing enough, and wondered if what I was building was actually making a difference.

So seeing my business recognized like this means more than I can really put into words.

To every person who has trusted me with their dog, recommended me, shared my posts, supported my business, or cheered me on along the way, thank you.

Sudsy Paws would not be what it is without all of you.

And somehow, after all of that, I get to say that Sudsy Paws Dog Grooming is a 2026 Quinte Business Achievement Awards nominee.

That still feels absolutely insane.

Well… tomorrow’s the day. 👀🎃

A little while ago Ryan from Loyalty Pet Products asked if I’d be interested in designing this year’s Halloween apparel.

My first thought was honestly, “Me?”

I don’t usually share my artwork. It’s always been something I do for myself. It’s how I unwind, get ideas out of my head, and shut my brain up for a bit. It’s never really been something I’ve put out there for other people.

So this was definitely outside my comfort zone.

Seeing one of my drawings turn into something people can actually wear has been pretty wild, and I’m really thankful Ryan trusted me with it.

Tomorrow the design is finally being revealed and pre-orders open.
