Happy Tails: Diesel 🐾❤️

After spending nearly a year waiting for his forever family, Diesel finally found the perfect match - and we couldn't be happier for him.

Since his adoption, his family has been keeping us updated with messages and photos, letting us know just how well he's settling into his new life. Seeing him so happy, relaxed and loved is everything we hoped for during his long stay with us.

Every update reminds us why we never give up on our long-term residents. Sometimes the right family takes a little longer to find, but when they do, it's worth every single day of waiting.

Thank you to Diesel's wonderful family for opening your hearts and for continuing to share his journey with us. We love watching him thrive and couldn't ask for a better Happy Tail.

Happy Tails: Diesel ❤️🐾

After such a long wait for the perfect family, hearing updates like this means the world to us.

We recently received this wonderful message from Diesel's family:

"He's been settling in beautifully - you'd honestly think he has lived in our home his whole life. He's adjusted so well and has fit right into our family. He's still learning and occasionally testing his big sister Mia's boundaries, but it's all in the best ways. They're getting more comfortable with each other every day."

This is exactly the happy ending we hoped for. Diesel spent a long time waiting for the right people to come along, and now he's exactly where he belongs - safe and loved!

Thank you to his amazing family for giving him the patience, love and forever home he deserved. We can't wait to watch Diesel and Mia's friendship continue to blossom.

Happy life, sweet Diesel. You were worth the wait.

🎉 We're excited to be part of the Boats, Bikes, Mics & Lights Educational Fun Fair! 🎉

Join us on Monday (rain date: August 11) for a day packed with fun, including a parade, games, live music, educational displays and so much more!

We are incredibly grateful to have been chosen as this year's recipient charity and we can't wait to spend the day with our amazing community while raising support for the animals in our care.

The parade kicks off at 10:30 a.m., so be sure to come early and don't forget to stop by and see us! We'll also be hosting a costume contest, so start planning your best outfit. We can't wait to see everyone's creativity on display!

We're looking for donations to help expand our training and enrichment program!

🐾 The dogs in our care have spoken, and they've made it clear that treats, toys, and chews are the top priority on their wish list - who are we to argue? After all, these goodies not only bring them joy but also play a vital role in their mental and emotional well-being.

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter during business hours or at Pet Valu (Hollinger Court location).
