✨Excited to say CAMP IS FULL! ✨

Thank you so much for the ongoing support, we are so excited to have our junior handlers back in the Gym for another fun filled week.

All registered participants have been emailed. Please check your spam folder if you have sent in a form and have not received a follow up email.

For those who have not been able to register, please send us an email. We will hold a limited cancellation list but cannot guarantee any spots coming available.

Kidz Dayz Junior Handlers Camp is back for 1 week only this July!

Has your child ever wanted to learn everything there is about dogs? What makes them tick, how to train them, and the best way to care for them? If so, look no further! If your child is between the ages of 8 and 14, this camp is made for them. They will learn everything they need to know about the different breeds, dog sports, anatomy, and how to train a variety of fun different tricks with much much more! 🐶

Your child will get assigned a dog at the beginning of the week. They will work alongside them to teaching tricks and will get to show them off at the end of the week. We will have daily guest presentations from breeders, dog trainers, animal medical professionals and many other experts in the field. The days will be filled with a variety of dog-related games, crafts, and educational interactive lessons, all coordinated by our trainer Angele. 🐕🐾

Spring is finally here! Well, we hope it is!

We are excited to open registration for our 2026 season! We are currently registering for Builders Level 1 starting next Monday, April 27th.

Registration will remain open all year with classes starting every 2-4 weeks. Class days and times will vary. Spaces are limited and filled on a first registration basis.

New to The Dog Gym? Welcome!

We are an obedience and dog sport training facility right here in Timmins! Our spacious facility offers classes for beginner trainers up to those with experience, offering classes for all ages and breeds of dogs. Our core courses help you learn the basics of obedience and training while our sport courses help you advance your skills. Our goal is to help you find the joy in working with your dog and help keep your dog active and happy!

🎉 Please help us Congratulate the final Graduates from our 2025 Season! These teams have completed Builders Level 1 or Trick Training! 🎉

This completes our 2025 training season here at The Dog Gym! Both Angele and I want to extend our Congratulations to all handlers and dogs who joined us in 2025. Without you our facility would not be what it is. Your hard work, dedication and interest in building a positive, working relationship with your dog shines through in everyone's success. We hope everyone has enjoyed their classes and look forward to having more teams, both new and seasoned, back in 2026 for more fun!

The Gym will be closed from today, November 14th 2025 until March or April 2026. Follow us here to stay up to date on activities and plans for the 2026 season. We look forward to seeing you at The Dog Gym!

Have you ever seen the crazy stunts and fantastic tricks some dogs do online and wondered how to get your dog to do it?

Join us for Trick Training! Tricks are a great way to learn the basics of behaviour. Dogs and handlers work together to figure out the steps needed for various tricks and have fun doing it! Tricks can help build confidence and excitement with various behaviours in your dog.

🐾✨ Another successful Kids Dog Camp in the books at The Dog Gym! ✨🐾

This week was packed with learning, laughter, and plenty of wagging tails. Our campers had the chance to explore:

🐶 Safe dog handling skills
🐕 Different breeds & their unique traits
💼 The many important jobs dogs do and jobs that work with dogs
🎨 Fun crafts, exciting games, and even a splash-tastic water day!
