Getting adoption-ready never looked so good! ✂️🐾

During the last National Adoption Week, the talented PetSmart Canada grooming team joined forces with one of PetSmart Charities of Canada's adoption partners, Oshawa Animal Service Center for a special "prep the pet" day. Five superstar groomers brought their magic to the shelter, giving deserving pets fresh new looks and plenty of pampering to help them look and feel their best before meeting their future families! 🛁✨

Thanks to the partnership between PetSmart Charities of Canada, PetSmart's passionate store teams and local shelters and rescues, thousands of pets have found homes this year. Here’s to more wagging tails and furry makeovers leading to forever homes! 💖🏡

This Moment of the Week might be the most heartwarming yet! 🥹 Meet Phoenix, the very brave boy ❤️ Phoenix was diagnosed with Mass Cell Tumour Disease in February and had to have half of his ear amputated. Through many rounds of chemotherapy and countless tests, Phoenix stayed strong and never gave up!

On August 20th, Phoenix celebrated his final chemotherapy treatment and even got to ring the bell with his mom 🥹 The first stop on their way home was PetSmart, Phoenix’s favourite spot for treats and toys! He celebrated being cancer free with his favourite stuffed lamb bones, stuffies, and the unconditional love of his human ❤️

Thank you for making us part of this special moment! This is truly what it means to do ❤️👏

It was a purr-fect day at PetSmart Kelowna! 😻

During last month’s PetSmart Charities of Canada National Adoption Week, Okanagan Humane Society helped 30 fabulous felines find loving families during the event!

The teams were absolutely overwhelmed by the amazing turnout and people who were ready to open their homes (and hearts!) to new furry friends. A big round of a-paws to the dedicated volunteers and fosters who make these happy tails possible. Here’s to more lives changed, one adoption at a time! 🐾💖
