Please spread the word for this lost cat. Tofu was LOST on June 9, 2025 in Thunder Bay, ON P7B 1P9 near Top of back lane on Banning St between Bay St & Lark St
Message from Owner: Tofu tends to be very skittish when outside, especially with loud noises, dogs, or strangers. He was a stray before we adopted him ~5 years ago and will only let him outside on a leash and harness in our yard (front yard on Dixon St at top of Foley, no fence). He always wants to go outside but typically runs back in quickly if he sees someone walking their dog across the street or something. He slipped out the door Sunday night and ran away instead of inside when we tried to coax him back in.
While he is a really sweet cat, he may scratch/flail if picked up. He seems to like other cats.
He's most likely found some good hiding spots so please if you could check your property carefully for him!
Description: Adult male grey striped shorthair cat, some white and caramel colour on belly and chin. average size and build at ~10 lbs, left ear is clipped & right ear tattooed "2016" due to catch and release spay/neuter & vaccination program. Wearing a red collar as in the picture with a black tag that says Tofu and my phone number. He's microchipped, vaccinated, and is not declawed.
