Once she feels comfortable, Maddie’s loving personality shines through. She enjoys quiet companionship, gentle affection, and exploring the world at her own pace. This sensitive girl will thrive with a patient family who can help her continue building confidence while giving her all the love she deserves. Maddie may be quiet, but she has so much love to give.

Otis is still very much a puppy at heart. He has plenty of playful energy and curiosity, and he’s happiest when he’s spending time with his people — whether that means going for a long walk, playing a game of fetch, or just hanging out by your side. He is friendly with both people and other dogs, making him a good fit for an active, social household. Otis is naturally affectionate and loves to give kisses, though his puppy enthusiasm means he can sometimes be a bit mouthy or paw at your face. Because of this typical “big puppy” behavior, he would do best in a home without very young children.

He is currently working on his house training and making steady progress. Staying consistent is key; he does best when taken out first thing in the morning and right after naps. Keeping him supervised and close by, rather than giving him full run of the house, will help him keep building good habits. He’s also starting to learn to relieve himself early on walks and doesn’t tend to mark.

When left alone, he needs to be kenneled for now. He isn’t a big fan of the crate yet and may bark, but this should improve with time, patience, and positive reinforcement. On a leash, Otis walks quite well and does best with a regular routine. Daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation will be important as he matures into a balanced adult dog. Overall, this sweet, goofy boy is looking for a home that will continue his training and provide the structure and guidance he needs to succeed.

The dogs shown in the photos above will be joining us at the event at the specified date/time, and their fosters will be there to share all about their personalities. We will also be on site to share more information on fostering. Take advantage of some big sales at West Coast Gardens, as well as enjoy the summer garden, outdoor market, prizes, and food trucks at this free family event

Meet Marvin (5 month old black and white), Chilli (3 month old orange) and Pepper (3 month old tabby). These handsome guys are neutered, microchipped, up to date on their vaccinations, and have been dewormed and deflead.

Marvin, Chilli, and Pepper: A Playful Feline Trio

Marvin is the playful heart of the group, thriving in the company of other cats and friendly toddlers. His occasional zoomies can get a bit rambunctious, but he loves cuddling and is curious about the outdoors, often trying to sneak out the front door.

Chilli has transformed from a shy cat to an outgoing playmate, frequently racing with Marvin down the hall. He loves wet food and sings for treats when his foster enters the kitchen. Chilli is affectionate and enjoys cuddling with his brothers. He’s friendly with the toddler and is becoming comfortable with the dogs in the home.

Pepper is the shy brother who looks up to Chilli. While not as brave, he compensates with affection, enjoying cuddles and playtime with his siblings. Pepper is coexisting well with the dogs and is gradually warming up to the toddler.

Together, Marvin, Chilli, and Pepper form a loving and playful trio, ready to thrive in a caring home where they can continue to bond and explore.

Blossom gives you the luxury of “Scary Dog Privilege”… for about two seconds, until she reveals herself to be the big baby she truly is!

Blossom is the sweetest, cuddliest girl. If you don’t want a velcro dog, then she might not be the one for you—though she is wonderfully respectful when you tell her “no” and set boundaries.

This snaggle-toothed stunner can be a bit nervous when first meeting new people, other dogs (especially small ones), and cats. However, once she knows and trusts you, she is all in! By that, we mean she becomes the lap dog she was always meant to be. She loves to lie on or next to you, and she will frequently ask for hugs (we are currently working on her habit of jumping up for affection).

She loves giving kisses and is famous for doing a full “sploot” in the Superman position with her back legs stretched out behind her. While she is highly food-motivated, she truly thrives on positive reinforcement. Blossom is fully house-trained, and although she isn’t thrilled when you leave, she doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety.

While she loves an adventure, she doesn’t require a ton of exercise. She could easily be trained to be more active, but she is just as happy with occasional off-leash trail walks and steady strolls around the neighborhood where she can say hello to everyone.

This gentle girl spent her past life living outside and being the best momma to her babies. Now, it’s finally her turn to live the pampered life!

While he is steadily getting better at spending time alone, Cloudy will thrive with a patient family dedicated to showing him that he is safe and secure when his people are away. When it comes to playtime, he is full of life — he loves going for runs, playing endless games of fetch, and is even beginning to discover a love for swimming. Once he feels truly comfortable with his humans, his hilarious, goofy side shines through, especially when there are belly rubs on the table. Cloudy is ready to make a fantastic addition to a loving home, promising to return all the affection he receives and then some.
