Boots polished, horse braided, and back in the show ring we went.

With the encouragement of family and friends, I entered the show with one simple goal: to give Beaux and myself a positive experience, to gently step back into the ring and see how it felt.

Every ride reminded me that progress is never really finished. It’s built one ride at a time through trust, consistency, and partnership.

Catching up with friends from the dressage community, feeling more connected with my special horse than ever, and ending the weekend with a few ribbons, including Open Third Level Reserve Champion, made it one to remember.

Life has a way of changing your path through adversity and grief, but sometimes it quietly brings you back to where you’re meant to be. ♥️🐴

A special thank you to Jessica, Angelica, and Danny for the encouragement to enter the show, and to Craig & Jessica, Kat, Amanda and Lindzie for being there to help me when I needed an extra pair of hands. Y’all are the best! 🥰

After 27 years running the boarding business at Hazelmere, it’s time for a new chapter. 💛

I’ve made the decision to wind down the horse-boarding side of my life, while continuing to coach students, travel for clinics, and focus on training my own horse.

I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful friends, clients, and memories built along the way. What a ride it’s been — from years with every stall full (plus overflow in the private barn!) to long days of training horses and supporting riders. Thank you for the trust, loyalty, and community that made this place what it is and kept it thriving for so long.

This past year has brought grief, reflection, and a lot of perspective. Now feels like the right moment to slow the pace a little and make more room for family, friends, and time with my own horse. This isn’t goodbye to the horse world… just a shift. I’ll still be around, and I hope to see many of you at clinics, shows, and around the ring.

Thank you for being part of this chapter.

I'm looking for a part-time personal assistant for Tuesdays and Fridays, 8:30 – 11:30 AM in South Surrey.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
• Experience handling warmbloods.
• Grooming and tacking up and knowledge of after care.
• Ability to recognize signs of good and poor horse health
• Reliable, good communicator, and a team player

Transportation needed as there is bus route nearby. This is a paid position.

We have one stall available for immediate occupancy, March 15th or April 1st.

Our facility offers top-tier amenities for dressage enthusiasts, including a dust-free indoor arena with full short-side mirrors to refine your skills. Each 12x12 stall features rubber matting and an automatic watering system for your horse’s comfort.

Horses enjoy 10+ hours of daily individual turnout in paddocks with shelters for protection from the elements.

Outdoor amenities include:
• Summer fields
• Two outdoor arenas (one dressage, one with optional jumps)
• Hacking track
• Round pen

Additional features:
• Heated tack room with individual lockers
• Heated grooming stalls
• Hot/cold wash rack
• Trailer parking available (limited, extra fee)

We feed premium Timothy hay four times daily, with supplemental Alfalfa.

Coaching Available:

If you’ve ever seen me compete or attend a clinic, you’d know my dad was always right there by my side. From loading the trailer in the early mornings to cheering from the sidelines and reminding me to believe in myself, he was my unwavering support system.

Whether it was long hauls traveling to California for competitions or being there for every ride, he never missed a moment. His faith—both in me and in the higher power—was always a guiding light. He encouraged me to trust the journey, strive for my best, and approach everything with gratitude and belief.

This picture is a beautiful reminder of his presence, his dedication, and the spiritual strength he brought into every moment.

Last Saturday, we lost my biggest supporter, my motivator, and my hero. My heart feels heavy, but I’m endlessly grateful for the lessons he taught me, the memories we shared, and the faith he inspired in me.

Thank you for everything, Dad. You were more than a supporter—you were a legend. Your love and faith will forever guide me. ❤

Your dedication and hard work brought our community together for a weekend full of learning and growth. Special thanks to Dieter Laugks from Germany for sharing his insights on throughness, relaxation, and balance. His emphasis on well-rounded training was inspiring, and it was incredible to see the progress in each horse.

It was Hoejbo (aka Beaux) and my first outing in a large spectator environment, and he was a superstar—handled it like a champ! A big thank you to my dad, my biggest cheerleader, for making it possible to have such a special horse. Here’s to building on these lessons and continuing to strive for excellence! 🐴💫
