We're working with Ziggy to become a little more comfortable with us every day. We talk to him, throw toys to him, pet his brother in front of him, and toss him treats. We even tried offering him a Churu, but taking it directly from us was just a little too much.
So, I grabbed a long wand toy and put the Churu on the end to give him some space. At first, as you can see, he was very much like "what the heck?!" 😂 Then he figured it out, and it was almost like you could see him thinking, "Whoa!! Maybe we can be friends!" He even let me pet him with the wand toy!
We still have lots of work to do, but we love celebrating the little wins.
We knew Ziggy was coming to us not particularly fond of making new friends, especially with women. We can't wait to see how we can continue to grow his trust in us and build a little friendship along the way! 🥹
