Maddie competes with her 3 year old Border Collie, Rival and we've been super impressed by their skills and great attitude while training at Bar Stars to prepare for the trial season!

⭐️ BAR STARS UKI TRIALS COMING IN 2026! ⭐️

I'm excited to announce that I will be completing the UKI judging process this spring, with my first mentoring assignment under Mike Hughson at Premier Dog Sports on Feb 8th! Thanks Mike & Premier!

I will also be judging the BYC Summer Cup at Tamsu on June 6 & 7, thanks Sarah Mairs for this great opportunity!

And for our biggest announcement yet! After our latest Galican order arrives in mid February we will be submitting our facility for UKI trial approval including our 200'x120' outdoor grass ring and our 120'x60' indoor arena!

Look for Bar Stars UKI trials to begin later this year, just a half hours drive from the 401&404!

⭐ EXCLUSIVE AGILITY TEAM CANADA TRYOUT PREP COURSES DESIGNED FOR BAR STARS BY TRYOUT JUDGE PETR PUPIK! ⭐

UPDATE: CURRENTLY ALL SPOTS ARE FULL BUT WE WILL BE ADDING MORE SESSIONS AT EARLIER TIMES SOON

Not just one course but FOUR(!!) challenging training courses with sequences numbered to the 40s! Each will be split into two courses.

Each course will include a walkthrough and group discussion led by 2 time AWC team member Linda Saab!

January 31 & February 7 will be Jumpers Courses
February 14 and March 7 will be Agility Courses using all three of our Galican SOFT Contacts

All sessions will be 4pm-7pm, limited to 6 spots for $80.

Courses will be run in our groomed dirt arena, so you can train in similar conditions to tryouts!

We've been a bit preoccupied this week as Victoria Sivad's Tea gave birth to a litter of 7 future champions!

The pups hit the course in record time, showing off their agility skills at only 1 week old! We chose to name the litter after some of our favourite agility judges. Check the photo descriptions for what made us choose each judge!

⭐️UPDATE ON OUR BAR STARS TOY HOLDERS! ⭐️

We've been doing a ton of testing over the past few weeks with various sized dogs, toys and holders to figure out the optimal sizes and shapes, and are ready to enter production!

Presenting the TugBuddy and BallBuddy, both available in small and large sizes in various fun colours!

The circular BallBuddy is great for holee-roller style balls with or without a tug attached, or any short tug with a round object on the end! They also work great for milkers.

For other tugs we have the oval TugBuddy, providing a larger surface area to keep the entire tug off the ground!

Both are made with TPU, a flexible material similar to rubber that is super durable in all temperatures!

Both will be available for order on our new store page within a few weeks, with orders being fulfilled in early February. Pricing will range from $20-50 depending on the size and model.
