🐶 Meet Bruce:
Breed: Bernedoodle/Hound mix
Age: 2 years
Weight: ~100 lbs — very tall and lanky!
Temperament: Affectionate, goofy, gentle, and social with his people
Bruce has been raised on a few acres and spends most of his time outdoors (by choice). He thrives in open space and would do best in a home with land or a large yard where he can continue to explore and relax.
He loves other dogs and has been friendly with our cat (though the feeling isn’t mutual 😄). Bruce is very bonded with our two children — he adores them. However, he becomes anxious around groups of kids or unfamiliar young visitors, which is why we’ve come to this heartbreaking decision.
🏡 Bruce's Ideal Home:
Space to roam — acreage or a large yard preferred
Another dog is a plus
A calm, predictable environment with fewer visitors
No young kids outside the household
Someone familiar with larger breeds and dog behavior would be ideal
He is great with adults and settles in well once he feels safe and knows the routine.
Bruce means the world to us, and we just want to find a place where he’ll feel secure and happy.
