YYJ Dog Walks is a local, force-free dog walking & pet-sitting business owned and operated by Stevyn and Kayl. Currently not accepting new clients.

We currently service East Sooke, Colwood, Langford, and some parts of View Royal and Metchosin YYJ Dog Walks is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. Our Services

Private Walks-
One-on-one or small pack walks. We will take your dog for a walk (around your neighborhood or ours!). Usually an hour, but can be adjusted when necessary. Great for dogs that just need a little extra exercise while you're

at work, or anxious dogs who are unable to do daytime care. We can really tailor these to your dog's needs and help work towards your training goals

Overnight care-
Your dog stays with us! Excellent alternative to boarding your dog at a kennel. We recommend having your dog join us for at least one daytime care session so they can be more comfortable with us when you go away for a night or more. We are very flexible and are happy to look after your pup for just a night, a week, or more!

Introducing the humans behind the scenes - Kayl (they/them) and Stevyn (he/him), and their canine sidekick, Azul.

Since 2020, we have been offering professional pet care services including dog walking and pet sitting.

Turning a side hustle into a fully-functioning business wasn't easy, but it was so worth it! We started in downtown Victoria and slowly shifted to the Westshore and East Sooke as we grew in both our business and personal lives.

We have met so many wonderful humans, dogs, cats, and other critters, many of whom have become long-term friends.

We are so grateful for all our clients for supporting our little family business and allowing us into your homes and lives. We couldn't do this without you!

Meet Hope!

We’ve been walking Hope for a few weeks now, and we adore her! This sweet gal is 11 years old but she doesn’t show it. She’s down for big hikes and exploring like a young pup.

Hope is a wonderful walker and we are so happy to hang out with her ❤️

Meet our newest cutie, Pepper 🌶️🔥 !!!

He’s very sweet and can be a little bit spicy! No matter what, he’s always excited to go for a walk so he can bark at the neighborhood squirrels. But he is a very good boy, and we’re happy to have him!

🖤Lupe🖤

Meet Lupe! He’s been in our stories for a while now, but our relationship has been focused on slowly building trust and understanding with this sweet guy. Lupe started out with a STRONG dislike for being around or getting into cars (except his owners car). Over the course of multiple walks, we slowly built our relationship with him. We are super grateful to his amazing owners for supporting this project and now, Lupe will jump right into our car without even a treat or lure. We give a lot of this credit to our dog, Azul, who has been with us every step of the way with Lupe. Azul gives Lupe a little extra confidence and it’s been amazing to watch their progress.

Lupe now enjoys his car ride to the park and his walk with Azul weekly and we’re so proud of him! 🥳

These wins are one of the best parts of our job and we owe it all to our amazing clients who give us the support and freedom to work at their dogs speed.
