🌿 Down goes the plant! 🚲 And before Dale left, Mystic made sure to knock over the bike, too. Just a little birthday mischief from Moon & Mystic, who recently turned one! 🎉😼

What else can you expect from two playful, energetic kitties? Every visit is an adventure, but that’s what makes cat sitting so much fun! 🐾💛

Despite their antics, these two were an absolute joy to care for. We love getting to know each kitty’s unique personality—whether they’re cuddle bugs or little rascals!

🐾✨ You never quite know what you’re walking into with a first-time cat sit! 😸

Some kitties stay hidden, just a pair of glowing eyes peeking from under the couch. Others are practically invisible—only their empty food bowls and a well-used litter box give them away. And then there are the social butterflies, ready for all the pets, scratches, and lap time!

This week, we’re hanging out with Moon & Mystic—and they couldn’t be more different! 🌙⚡

🐱 Moon is all about attention—Dale can’t get a moment to herself with this little shadow demanding love!
🐱 Mystic? Well, let’s just say she lives up to her name...she's mystical. We’re lucky if we even see her, let alone snap a pic!

Either way, we’ve officially been graced by both of their presences, so we’ll call that a win. 😆🐾

Did you know that under the CRD Regional Parks bylaw, pet owners must have their dog under effective control in non-leash mandatory areas? But what does that really mean!?

Control is defined as you always having a clear line of sight to your pup and that your four-legged friend returns to you immediately when called or signaled.

🎶 Mozart & Melody are loving one of our favorite pet sitting packages: the “Pee, P**p, & Exercise!” 🐾

Here’s how it works:
☀️ Morning: A quick 30 minutes for breakfast and bathroom time.
🚶‍♂️ Afternoon: A full hour-long walk to stretch those legs and burn some energy.
🌙 Evening: Another 30 minutes for dinner and one last potty break before bedtime.

That’s three visits a day—perfect for pups who are okay being solo for a little while but still need plenty of care and attention. ❤️

We have two dogs that we regularly do solo walks: a Golden Retriever and a Black Lab. Over the past two months, we’ve taken the Golden on 18 solo walks, and over the last two years, the Lab has had 201 walks!
When we leave their homes, both dogs have the freedom to choose their own path. The Golden has 4 route options, while the Lab has 5.

Here’s the surprising part: with 95% certainty, they both choose the SAME route for their dog walk!

As guardians, we often focus on giving our pups new experiences—but it’s a good reminder that sometimes, the choice that matters most is theirs. 🐾

Power cord secure.
Moorings tight.
Bilge pumps working.
Gauges operating.
Door re-locked.
Boat security check completed.
