🌟 Meet Obada – A Champion for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery 🌟

We’re proud to shine a spotlight on Obada, one of our dedicated Mental Health and Addiction Workers at Lonsdale Treatment Centre.

With over a decade of experience in the medical field, Obada brings a powerful combination of clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion to his work. He holds an MD and specialized experience as a psychiatrist from one of the largest hospitals in his home country. After moving to Canada, he continued his journey by graduating from the Addictions and Mental Health (ADMH) program at Cambrian College in Sudbury.

Although not yet licensed to practice medicine in Canada, Obada blends his psychiatric background with his postgraduate studies to provide holistic, client-centered support—especially for vulnerable populations like children and adolescents facing mental health challenges.

His mission?
✅ Combat stigma
✅ Advocate for client rights
✅ Raise awareness about mental health and addiction
✅ Offer hope and healing to those who need it most

Obada is deeply committed to ongoing learning and professional development, ensuring his approach is always aligned with the latest research and best practices.
