We still have a few meat boxes available!

Where does the time go? I was shocked to see July 31 on my calendar this morning! Y’all know what the end of the month means? Yep, it’s time for our August MONTHLY MEAT BOX! $150 gets you a variety of our homegrown meats, sausages, and a dozen eggs delivered right to you door or a drop point nearby!

This months box includes:

1 whole chicken
1 pork leg roast
1 ham steak
2 pkg ground pork
1 pkg chicken drumsticks
1 pkg smoked sausage (your choice)
1 pkg fresh sausage (your choicee)
1 pkg snack stix (your choice)
1 doz farm fresh eggs

You get to choose from our selection of sausages which includes the following:

Smoked: Cold-Smoked Mennonite, Campfire, Hot Chorizo, Jalapeño Cheddar

Fresh: Maple Breakfast, Mild Italian, Garlic & Onion Dinner, Greek Feta Lamb, Lamb Merguez

Snack Stix: Regular Pepperoni, Salami, Summer Sausage

All the contents of our meat boxes come from animals produced right here on our small farm, where they spend their days grazing, wallowing, scratching, and sun bathing. Our products are all processed at local inspected facilities.

Looking for a new ram? This is a grandson to our Luke (who we lost last summer). Our Luke was an amazing ram, never missed a ewe, and produced good sturdy meaty lambs. His grandson here is hi percent Dorper and is available for $250 here in Salmon Arm. If interested please contact Tania Smith at The Country Concierge.

The HOMEGROWN Farmstand will only be open Friday, July 31 & Saturday, August 1 this weekend. We are closed on Sunday August 2 for a much needed day off! As always, don’t hesitate to place an order as we will fill it the following day.

Our hogs are raised outdoors with lots of room to roam, wallow, and root! They forage for roots, greens, and insects and are supplemented with a balanced feed ration to ensure they are healthy and happy. We feel it’s important that pigs get to be pigs before they are harvested to nourish us.

Farmstand tour with Cora. I told Cora that she didn’t have to be involved with this post, but she insisted. Not only that, she insisted I put her in the freezer to make this announcement. She said it was refreshingly cool on a hot day and a chance for her to ‘chill out’ with some friends. I think it’s just creepy.

But anyhow … Cora would like to announce that we now have a limited supply of chicken parts … er cuts, in stock for your convenience!
