🐾 Meet Maggie 🐾
11 weeks old | Female | Retriever mix (big & fluffy edition)
Maggie has been in our care since December 7, and in that short time she has already shown us just how resilient, joyful, and gentle she is.
When Maggie first arrived, it was clear something wasn’t quite right with her eyes. She was diagnosed with entropion, a condition where the eyelashes roll inward and irritate the eye. There was also concern about microphthalmia, which can affect eye size and vision. At the time, we didn’t know what her future might look like—whether she would need surgery or have vision limitations.
What Maggie needed most was time.
Four weeks later, the improvement has been nothing short of remarkable. Her eyes have continued to develop, her comfort has improved dramatically, and our veterinary team now has no concerns about her vision. At this point, the plan for her entropion is a “watch and wait” approach. She may never need surgery, and if she does, it will be addressed at the appropriate time.
Because of this medical history, Maggie’s adoption will be handled a little differently—and very thoughtfully.

💕 Maggie’s Personality
Maggie is a sweet, thoughtful puppy with a big love for the outdoors. Rain, snow, sunshine—she’s happy in all of it. She enjoys people, but she truly thrives with other dogs and often seeks out canine companionship over human attention.
She currently lives with a resident dog named Phoebe, who has endless patience for puppies, and Maggie adores her.
