❤️👣🐾🐾❤️ JettaJacks & Co. Making great stuff, even when the old girl gets cranky.

Well… today our German-engineered serger decided it needed a little spa day. First day back after the long weekend, and she’s acting like she has a hangover.
She’s now broken down and is now sitting there looking expensive while we wait for parts to be shipped. 😂
This machine is pushing 50, which in sewing-machine years is somewhere between “vintage treasure” and “stubborn old goat.” But to be fair, when she’s running, she’s running.
That said… maybe it’s time we start looking at a backup machine, or a new one, or both.
Because nothing says “small business in Canada” quite like trying to keep production moving while your second most important machine waits for a tiny part to cross the country like it’s on a scenic vacation.

Occasionally held together with patience, coffee, and a few words I probably shouldn’t put in a business post.
But we’ll be back humming shortly. 🧵🐾

Koda and Max! ❤️💜

Now those are not just big, beautiful boys…
This is exactly why we love working with all our retailers. They know their customers and their pups. Some are long and lean. Some are shaped like they were designed by a committee after snacks.
And that’s where we come in. 💁‍♂️
We truly believe a harness should fit the dog, not the dog having to explain why he doesn’t fit into “standard sizing”.
Thanks for the love, the laughs, and for letting us be part of keeping Koda and Max comfortable, handsome, and ready for more kisses. 🐾❤️

There’s something pretty special about seeing one of our retailers excited when their JettaJacks order arrives. We get just as excited packing it up and sending it out. Every piece that leaves our work-shop has been made, and packed by our hands, so when it gets to you and you’re happy to receive it, that means the world to us.

We’re so grateful to have retailers who believe in what we make and the dogs we make it for. ❤️🐾

Jackie’s Log - Day 1755 _ Guilty as Charged

So… apparently I thought I could out-smart my human.

I've learned how to pry open the little door that hides the garbage from sight, quietly remove it (stealth mode: activated), then drag it to a secluded corner of the house to “finish my work.”

Today’s menu: chicken, pork, salad… and yes, even coffee grounds.
All because I was told the three words no dog should ever have to hear:

“Wait for breakfast.”

Now I’m on a very strict program called: No Breakfast, Maybe Snack at Noon.
And this is the look I gave after the evidence was discovered.
Zero regret. Mild offense. Full attitude.

What do you do with a dog like this… besides love them anyway?
