You guys may recognize me if you follow on IG or K9 Ground Search - Elgin / Middlesex on Facebook. I'm the dog that was tied up and left outside the shelter a few weeks ago.

I thought for sure my dad would be right back for me but unfortunately, despite me waiting patiently like the good boy I am, he never came back.. :( I wish he could have at least left a note for my new friends here, it would have been really comforting just to hear my real name again, or let them know a little about me. They gave me a new name though, I'm still getting used to it but I think it suits me pretty well..

I don't know why my dad dumped me. I may be a big boy and my cropped ears try to make me look tough, but the truth is I'm just a big, cuddly, silly teddy bear 🥰

I am a big baby that LOVES to love, I want to be cuddled and with my people alllll the time! I get super excited to see my friends and meet new people, my tail is always wagging. I will give you big, sloppy kisses and watch you with eyes just like this "😍". I am very good on my leash, I will walk right beside you and watch you for direction, but sometimes I can pull if there's somebody I REALLY want to meet! You can never have enough friends, you know?

I am good with most dogs but take some time to warm up at first, so it may take a couple good walks to establish a bond with any new siblings for me. Cats are a little freaky, but I could probably live with one as long as my new family teaches me how to act appropriately with them.

The staff here can't believe I haven't been adopted yet, they know that once an adopter comes to meet me, it'll be love at first sight!

I really miss being a part of a family. I don't like sleeping alone in the kennel, it's lonely here at night and I just want to be somebody's best friend again.. If you think you could use a big boy like me to snuggle with at night, please call my friends to set up a meet & greet!
