The last of our new shelters are officially done and the horses are already giving them their stamp of approval.
Built to stay dry, cozy, and comfortable through every kind of northern weather, these shelters are one of the final touches in our winter prep. Fresh footing, sturdy build, tucked among the trees… exactly the kind of quiet, safe space we want for every horse here.
Loving how everything is coming together out here. 🐴✨

Something new around the paddocks! 🐴
At Salmon Valley Springs Ranch, we’re always making little improvements that make a big difference for our horses.
Our new hay nets help keep feed low to the ground where horses naturally eat — supporting better digestion, cleaner paddocks, and less waste. We love that the horses enjoy every last bite of hay. 🌾
They’re adjustable too, so we can keep them safe for horses with shoes while still making them easy to fill and use

Something is happening at Salmon Valley Springs Ranch ! New Paddocks and some new shelters.

Exciting news — we have a few openings here at Salmon Valley Springs Ranch! 🐴✨
We currently will have one empty paddock available December 1st, and it can be used in two ways:
As a private paddock for full board or semi-board, or
As a shared paddock for full board only. Shared groups are kept small at just 2–3 horses, with plenty of trees for natural shade and a 12x12 timber-framed shelter for extra comfort.
We also have space for one more horse in our small herd of three, in a larger shared paddock with mixed tree cover and a run-in shelter. This option is full board only.
Full board includes netted round bales from our trusted local hay supplier, keeping horses happily munching around the clock.
Semi-board requires bringing your own square bales, which we feed 3×/day.
The fall trails are absolutely stunning right now, and the arena is still open for riding. 🍂
If you’re looking for a quiet, caring place where horses can relax and just be horses, we’d love to hear from you. 🌾

Come fill your buckets (and maybe sneak a few for “quality control” 😉). These are low-bush, wild blueberries growing right here in the forest — sweet, flavorful, and perfect for summer.

Bring your own containers and pick as much as you want — just $5 per person. This isn’t a manicured U-pick patch — it’s a natural, wild blueberry experience.

All proceeds will be donated to our local gymkhana club to help support their events and riders.
