Wow, what a wild time the Pet Valu team had at the Texada Sandcastle weekend dog show! This is one of our top dog events and we're howlin' with excitement to help out the fabulous Terry from the Texada Home & Garden Centre. The costumes were absolutely paw-some and the agility course was a real hoot to watch. We're barking mad with congratulations for all of the winners and hope everyone had as doggone good a time as we did. We'll be back next year, and it's bound to be even more fur-tastic! Thanks a million, Texada!

The dog show kicks off Sunday morning at 10am we will start off with the utterly outrageous costume contest then move to the agility portion. All participants will receive a prize and the winners will receive some extra special prizes! We hope to see you all on Sunday!!

Wow!! What a crazy month June was! We are absolutely thrilled by this community's unwavering support, helping us surpass our $11,000 paw goal for the local SPCA . We have some very special shout outs to make to some truly amazing business owners.. Thank you to Just Frys - and dogs for their remarkable $1,100 donation from our parking lot party! Thank you Domino’s Pizza Powell River for your incredible contribution of $910.00 from the parking lot Dough raiser Thank you to Old Man Pho for their generous $500.00 donation. Thank you to Dashing Dogs Dental for the $240.00 donation from their teeth cleaning. Thank you to Full Circle Doughnuts for the $100 donation from the parking lot party. With all that and the generous donations from our truly amazing buisness and community members to our raffle and punch a cup prizes, we raised a whopping $12,327 for the BC SPCA qathet!! Our buddies from Domino’s Pizza Powell River have arrived and are setting up for the massive dough raiser for our BC SPCA qathet! They will have small cheese and pepperoni pizzas paired with a pop for $10 and the best part is that 100% of the proceeds go to our local Spca!
