We are celebrating Halloween this week at Windy Acres Stable. Thanks to Jackie for setting up our spooky obstacle course. We have everything from the ghost lane to a very large spider. Check in the comments even the dogs are getting into the action.

This Thanksgiving, we are giving thanks for our incredible community that makes Windy Acres Stable such a special place.

We are thankful:
To our riders — for inspiring us with your perseverance, enthusiasm, and willingness to try new things.

To our volunteers — for giving your time, energy, and hearts to make every experience possible.

To our parents, grandparents, families, caregivers, and support staff — for your unwavering encouragement, trust, and dedication to our riders.

From all of us at Windy Acres Stable, wishing you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving.

We wish to thank all our riders, families, supporters and VOLUNTEERS for everything you did today. Our team event was a huge success with the green team, blue team and red team coming together to be team Windy Acres Stable.

Our horses were once again the superstars with over 27 trips around the cart, games and obstacle courses.

Photos will be posted this week.

If you took any photos and want them included in our 2027 calendar send them to [email protected] and we will compile them.

We’re putting our best foot forward for Sunday!

The horses are getting their finishing touches, with the farrier making sure everyone is properly shod and ready to go.

And it’s not just the horses getting ready! Our bridles, saddles and cart tack have all been cleaned, conditioned and polished in preparation for our Windy Acres Team Showcase/

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone this Sunday from 1:00–5:00 PM to see our riders, drivers, horses and volunteers come together and showcase what they’ve been working on throughout the year.
A few reminders for our visitors:

Please, no dogs
No alcohol permitted
Please bring a lawn chair
If you’re staying for the afternoon, a shareable finger-food snack that doesn’t require utensils would be greatly appreciated.

Come cheer on our riders, meet our incredible horses and enjoy an afternoon celebrating the entire Windy Acres Team!

We can’t wait to see you Sunday!
