- St. Eugène Vinegar is a young operation with roots in old-world craft. Founded in 2024 by chef-turned-vinegar-maker Ian Ruckriegel and his partner Jeff Turner, a retired professor and now a cider maker.

- "A Slice of Home": Afsana Kabir's The Dessert Chapter is introducing Bangladeshi, Omani and Indian flavours to Ottawa, one milk cake at a time.
