🌱 From Kitchen Mistake to Culinary Star! A Microgreens Culinary History✨

Did you know microgreens started by accident in a San Francisco kitchen in the early 1980s? A chef ordered baby greens—his grower delivered tiny seedlings instead. The result? A global culinary revolution.

By the 1990s, chefs like Craig Hartman and Michael Clark were experimenting with these colorful shoots as they delivered intense flavors and vivid colors that traditional garnishes couldn’t match. In 1998, the term “microgreens” was officially coined in the USA.
