Every single day animals arrive at the Oromocto SPCA needing our help. We feed, exercise, bathe, socialize, play with and provide comfort to these abused, neglected and abandoned animals. We take the wounded and sick to the veterinarian, change bandages, administer medications and monitor their recovery - with the goal of finding each animal a loving home. Last year hundreds of animals were adopte

d from the Oromocto SPCA including cats and dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes and breeds, as well as rabbits, rats and more! We invite you to drop by the shelter during adoption hours to visit the animals in our lovely windowed cat room, kitty condos and large outdoor dog runs, or browse our site and view our adoptable animals online.

Missy is a 1 year old spayed female chocolatey colored mixed breed dog who recently flew to us from Manitoba so she could be an East Coast Girl.
Dogs in Northern Manitoba are in a crisis situation and without shelters and rescues working together, dogs like Missy could be facing a death sentence.
Missy is good with kids and other dogs, but we're not sure about cats. She LOVES people and is a real cuddle bug and is house trained. When left alone, Missy will chew random objects but she is crate trained which keeps her and your treasures safe!
Missy is only about 40lbs and about knee high so she's the perfect medium size.

Loki is a 2 year old neutered male shepherd/husky mix who recently flew to us from Manitoba so that he could be a Maritimer and find a wonderful family!
Did you know that dogs in Northern Manitoba are in a crisis situation and that without rescues and shelters working together, many will die.
We're happy that Loki has been saved and he is too!
This happy, bouncy boy is good with other dogs but would need a cat free home. He likes to chase critters smaller than him. He is learning that being a member of a family and living indoors is the best!

Kane is a 6 year old male neutered shepherd mix that came to us after he was seized by the New Brunswick SPCA. When he was found, Kane had a skin condition and was missing a lot of hair. Now that he’s all healed up, this big sweet guy is looking for his forever home. He is high energy, playful, and will require an active family that is ready to take him on. We would not place him in a home with cats and would need a slow introduction with another dog. Due to his size and exuberance, he should be in a home with older children.
