Entries for our upcoming Kaspian Dressage Collage close on August 13. The show is August 17 and the wonderful Kim Vos is judging. Bring your child's pony, your western horse, the greenie that needs experience, or the nervous rider. This is the perfect time to practice riding in a show environment that is welcoming and relaxed. Working equitation, classical dressage, and western dressage classes are offered. Kim Vos is a judge with lots of experience and great comments.

Due to a scheduling error, we have decided to move the August Kaspian Dressage Collage to Sunday. The new date is August 17. Hopefully this change will not prevent any of our dedicated competitors from attending.

Kim Vos is judging, so we are looking forward to an efficient day with lots of helpful comments. Entries open July 19, so put it in your calendars!

There are still a few spots available at the Kaspian Dressage Collage on June 7. Entries close Wednesday night (June 4).

If your plans changed last minute and you want something to do with your horse, now is your chance! If you've never shown here before, you can expect a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. Any tests requiring the standard ring will run first followed by tests in the small ring, then the working equitation tests. That normally brings us to the afternoon where we often move outside for the ease of handling portion.

Almost everyone gets a ribbon because of the small class sizes, so come get some valuable feedback from a judge (Astrid Hyrcuik). Its the perfect first show of the season!

We welcome a variety of equestrians to come experience the fun of competition. Dressage, western dressage, working equitation, eventers, green horses, kids on ponies, even the "probably not broke enough to ride in public" first timers or the "haven't competed in 4 decades" old timers!

Please read the prize list and reach out with any questions. We are not offering the speed round, but you are welcome to ride on the obstacles after classes have finished. Astrid Hryciuk is the judge and always offers very encouraging comments.

The weather is looking fantastic with sunshine and +18 in the forecast.

The long track and targets are still set up so this may be our last chance to practice on the long track for 2024.

Come join the fun and learning starting at noon with ground practice and 1:00 - 4:00 with the horses.

Just a reminder that we are having our final grading event here at Kaspian on September 21-22 and are hoping to share the fun on the long track and good eats with everyone who has a horse and a bow.

If anyone knows anyone interested in a gorgeous set of fancy studded nylon show harness for a draft team complete with collars, felt work pads, Christmas pads plus cheaters and lines for single horse driving let me know.

Spots are filling up for the July 20 Kaspian Dressage Collage. We will be sending out the schedule Thursday July 18 after the closing date July 17.

Entries are open for the Kaspian Dressage Collage on July 20!

I've had a lot of interest, so please get your entries in promptly. Test 2 in an level and style is the chosen test this month. Any other tests will fall into the test of choice class. Working equitation is two classes (dressage and ease of handing), so please keep that in mind when registering and paying. We are going to limit rider/horse combinations to 3 classes at this time.

It is that time of year again when the honey bees tend to swarm and I have lost some. If you spot a swarm or they occupy a place where you do not want them get in touch with me so I can come and safely recover them and put them back in my bee yard where they belong.
