If your horse is in more work right now but not holding topline the same, thatโ€™s not random.

More riding doesnโ€™t build muscle โ€” it breaks it down first. Thatโ€™s normal.

The problem is when workload increases, but the program never changes with it.

If there isnโ€™t enough there to actually rebuild muscle back properly (amino acids, not just more feed), you end up with a horse thatโ€™s working harder without holding condition the same.

Thatโ€™s usually when people start changing feeds, adding more supplements, or thinking something is wrong โ€” when really the program just isnโ€™t supporting the workload.
