Got leftover Halloween pumpkins sitting on your porch? Don’t let them go to waste! Bring them over to Second Chance Ranch, where our animals consider them the ultimate seasonal treat!
From our goats and pigs to our birds and horses, everyone loves a good pumpkin crunch.

Location: Second Chance Ranch Canada (Odessa, Ontario)
Where to leave them: Look for the designated drop-off area in the main parking lot(same spot as usual).
When: Any day during daylight hours!
🚨 Quick Pumpkin Checklist (For Animal Safety)
Before dropping them off, please double-check that your pumpkins are:
✅ Unpainted & free of glitter, wax, or dye
✅ Free of candles, toothpick bits, or plastic/metal decorations
✅ Firm & mold-free (if it's soft, slimy, or starting to rot, please compost it instead!)

Huge shoutout and heartfelt thank you to the amazing group of volunteers from CFB Kingston who came out to Second Chance Ranch today!
With so much to tackle around the farm, having these folks jump in and lend a hand made a world of difference. Sarge especially loved meeting the crew and supervising all the hard work from the field!
They say many hands make light work, and today proved it. We are so grateful for your support, dedication, and service to our community—thank you for everything you accomplished today!

WHAT A DAY! 🌾🎶🌧️
To every single vendor who set up shop, every musician who played their heart out, and every visitor who walked through our gates today—THANK YOU!
Mother Nature threw absolutely everything she had at us today—scorching heat, sudden rain, construction detours, and even a severe thunderstorm warning—but this community is truly unstoppable. You held down tents, danced through the downpours, supported our local artisans, and brought the absolute best energy to the ranch.
A festival is just a field and a stage without the people, and you proved today that our community can weather any storm together.
We are so grateful for your patience, your smiles, and your incredible support. Rest up, dry off, and thank you for making this year’s Livestock Music & Craft Festival unforgettable!

A VERY special shoutout to the absolute heart and soul of Second Chance Ranch—OUR VOLUNTEERS! ❤️🐴🌾
Events like today simply do not happen without the incredible crew working behind the scenes. From hauling supplies in the heat, managing traffic through construction, holding down tents in the storm, and keeping every animal safe, happy, and loved—you all stepped up and blew us away.
Second Chance Ranch wouldn't be what it is without your time, your hard work, and your endless dedication to this community and these animals.
