Did you know that ONE in five mature dogs and ONE in three cats who are seemly heathy, are found to have abnormalities in their wellness bloodwork.

Wellness screening is just as important for adult pets as other preventative healthcare measures like vaccinations. 🙌

🐾Nose-to-tail Physical Exam and History

🐾Blood tests including liver, kidney, and thyroid disease screening, as well as diabetes and general infections.

🐾Urine test

🐾4DX test (detects heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma) *for dogs only*

🐾Nutrition and lifestyle recommendations

Happy Monday to Outlaw!

Outlaw, our handsome 10-month-old Australian Cattle Dog who stopped by to see Dr. Lawless for his Lepto/Lyme booster! 🐶

This red-and-white cutie may have a tough-sounding name, but he’s nothing but sweet smiles and wagging tails. Outlaw’s boundless energy and curious personality make every visit an adventure and we love seeing him grow into such a healthy, happy boy! 🥰

Happy Monday to our new friend Karma! 🐶

This sweet pup came in for their very first puppy visit with Dr. Lawless and was seen here with our veterinary assistant, Tori! 🩺💚💜

Karma stole everyone’s hearts with that wagging tail, playful energy, and those irresistible puppy eyes. We can already tell this little one is going to grow into a happy, healthy, and very loved companion. 🐕

💚 Celebrating Veterinary Technician Week! 💚

This week, we celebrated our incredible veterinary technicians Sarah, Chery, Trichia, Linda, and Evan! 🎉

We surprised them with some gift cards, sweet treats, and heartfelt cards to let them know just how much we appreciate and value everything they do. 💌

Their compassion, skill, and dedication make our team stronger every single day. From comforting pets to supporting our doctors and clients, they truly are the heart of our clinic.

This Heart to Paw event will breathe new life into your pet’s gently used items by recycling and donating them to animals that need support.

Items can be dropped off at our hospital until the end of October. 👏👏👏

Happy Wednesday!! 🎃

We are back from the long weekend today and hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, include our friend Lila.

Sweet Lila was such a superstar during her recent visit to our sister clinic Cataraqui Pet Hospital with Dr. Paine. 🩺

Lila handled everything like a champ, and our team made sure she was comfortable, calm, and surrounded by love every step of the way. 💕
We are happy to report the procedure went smoothly, and she's now on the road to recovery. 🙏
