Training tip
When I give a command to any dog. I first call her name.
Give her the command.
And give her time to respond.
Make it more exciting your her to be with you than what she is doing.
Even if it is her favorite thing like saying hi to the chickens.

Just us fooling around. There is a portion of this video with tracking. This is one of the best tools in your box to having a mentally fit dog. Anytime your dog is using 2 or more senses its good. The more they use the more they tire out and well as a dog owner this is the result we want. When a dog is tracking it's at the height of excitement. They want to find the toy or stick. Bobbi loves sticks. Remember they only want to please you.
What I'm writing about it work on the skill of tracking. It's more to guide them. Give them the command and give them space. I see a lot of trainers that find and encouraging a dog repeatedly telling them to find it find it. I have a different approach on this I believe in giving the command and waiting giving them the space to digest the command gives them an opportunity to concentrate on what the task at hand is rather than listening to your encouragement.
It works for me. I thought I'd share the knowledge. This week lesson. Listen to your dog's breath.
