It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Oliver crossed the rainbow bridge last night. He was always a chunky boy and, as such, was the total inspiration behind Panther Perches. He was the total reason that I started building perches that were strong enough for big cats. He will remain in my heart forever. RIP Oliver.

MORE THAN A CAT TREE

Panther Perches started towards the end of 2016 when I first decided to build a modern day cat tree that was sturdy, home decor friendly and lasting. At a time when the world is becoming more environmentally aware, the concept of purchasing a cat tree made with plywood or strand board which would end up in a landfill in a couple of years was a trend that I felt could and should be addressed so everything that we design and build can be refurbished and the carpet, including the scratch poles can be easily replaced.

The surfaces are finished with varnish that has been verified by the manufacturer to withstand cleaning using diluted bleach as per recommended in commercial applications like shelters and veterinary practices.

Exposed carpet edges are kept to a minimum so that the chances of your fur baby eating the strands off the back of the carpet are reduced.

After designing the original perch which has an open plan concept and a top shelf that is accessible from the top of the scratch pole I decided to expand the product range to include beds, feeders and shelves and offer custom builds.
