Moved the 2 herds that need a little extra to the grassy fields last night. They are usually closer and come into the barn to eat. Shorty and Widget enjoying their breakfast in the lane way.

Feeding outdoor horses might be more work, but its never impossible. When the horses all eat something specific to them we just pull them to ensure they are the ones eating it all.

With retirement board we know its not a one size fits all. Each horse has unique needs, so we do what we have to ensure they are met.

Not one of my personal horses, but still one of 'my' horses. Destiny and I enjoyed a little walk this evening followed by a bit of grazing while I sat there and enjoy the sound of her chewing.

Stella and Athena grazing after dinner. Freya supervising. Tonight will be Stella's first night out all night in awhile. After she lost her friend she no longer had a buddy. She's enjoyed her stall the most since then. However her owner would like her in a herd. I think my herd is the perfect herd for her. So right now we are letting her get use to Athena (best, kindest mare), then we will let them both loose in my herd. Making happy, healthy herds are our goal.
