Chewy the Cavapoo was in for the first time today.
At 13 weeks old it was the perfect time to introduce him to the grooming process.
The Puppy service helps familiarize your new fur-pup with the sights, sounds and smells of the salon. It always includes brushing and combing, a bath and blow dry, and nail trim. Where possible we will do a light trim around the feet using both a clipper and scissors and we can attempt to clear up around the eyes if needed. The Puppy service is a do what we can as safely as we can, while keeping it all as worry-free as possible for your puppy.

Good morning, Pucci fam! 🐾

We’ve got exciting news (with a little bit of pain in the fuzzy butt 😅). We’re switching scheduling software. Again. I know, I know. It’s been a journey for all of us.

But guess what? We finally found THE one, Groomer.io! It checks ALL our boxes, works for tech lovers AND tech avoiders, and was built BY groomers FOR groomers. That means we can keep all the important info on your fur kiddos that we haven’t been able to with other scheduling apps (because they’re the real VIPs 🐶🐱).

We have the same feelings about another switch, but this is the one we’re sticking with. Promise. 🤞

Patience pact: We’ll be patient with you if you’re patient with us!

We had another busy Friday but Lily the Standard Poodle made sure to take some time and appreciate her fresh, clean look.
She spent about 10 minutes quietly admiring herself in the mirror while waiting for her mum to arrive and we had to capture the moment.

With the warmer weather approaching, and the arrival of a little fuzz butt that is currently suffering from the dangers of shaving when you shouldn’t, I thought it a perfect time to remind our Pucci family why it is we do not shave natural coats.
The last picture is of Franklyn. He is a Pomeranian who was shaved elsewhere. At just over a year old, his coat is ruined for life. His ability to protect himself from the sun, bugs, scrapes and cut’s and to regulate his own temperature, has been taken away from him. That’s not to mention the discomfort he feels when being pet because his hair follicles have been damaged.
Having been at the vet very recently, it was concluded, by the vet, that shaving his coat is the only cause for the condition his coat is in.

If you do not choose to stay with us at Pucci parlour, we request only that any place you decide to go, puts the health and wellness of your pets before their monetary gain.
