March Break Kids Camp at Shadowlane Stables

We have spaces available in our upcoming March Break riding camp! Join us for a week of fun, games, and learning with Shadowlane's wonderful horses!

March 10-14 (Monday-Friday) from 9am to 4pm each day

Open for kids ages 4 to 12 years old as of January 1, 2025 and is suitable for all riding levels. Brand new riders to experienced riders are welcome!

$475 + HST per camper for 1 week of camp

Spring Lesson Registration is now open!

We are excited to announce that we are now taking registration for our Spring 2025 Lesson Session beginning in March!

Lessons spaces available weekdays, evenings, and weekends. We offer lessons for every riding level, from beginner to advanced.

Indoor Riding Lessons Available

Looking to stay active this winter? Trying to find the perfect gift for the horse-crazy person on your list? Thought about giving horseback riding a try?

Shadowlane Stables has lessons available for new and experienced riders in our winter programs. For those wanting more time in the saddle we have leasing and part options.

We also offer gift certificates.

Spaces are limited. Lessons for new and beginner riders offered mornings & early afternoon on weekdays, Friday evenings, and Saturday afternoons. Recreational lessons for those with riding experience are available mornings & early afternoon on weekdays.

We have a few spaces available in our PA Day camp on Friday (October 11, 2024) for kids aged 4-12!

Camp is a great way for children to explore horses both on the ground and on their backs in a safe, experienced environment. Campers will b​e involved in the daily care for the horses as well as a riding lesson each day, crafts, learning about horsemanship, and weather appropriate games. ​Campers do not need previous riding experience, just a love of horses!

Camp runs 9am-4pm
$100 + HST per camper

In addition to the Silver series, Shadowlane riders attended London Horsemanship Club schooling shows and silver level Trillium shows in the south west circuit. Local shows are the backbone of our showing community and offer a great environment for new and established riders to compete and show. We had many young riders make their horse show debut this season!

Thank you to the .horsemanship team and HSE stables for always running fun shows for our schooling riders and to for their always fabulous Trillium shows.

Shadowlane's Summer Summary continues!

Our Silver show team competed at Caledon 4 and 5 in August. It was a great two shows to wrap up our regular season. Our riders have worked very hard all season and its great to see improvements they made, not just in their riding but in their horsemanship and sportsmanship as well. Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported us this season!

We look forwards to the season finale; Playoffs at Angelstone in October!

Shadowlane's Summer Summary!

Its been a busy summer at Shadowlane Stables and we haven't updated on here in bit so over the next few days we will be summarizing our major summer events!

To start our Summer Summary - Angelstone Silver #3 Wildcard! It was a fun week with a smaller group of Shadowlane riders competing at a different venue with riders, horses, and barns we don't always get to see at Caledon shows. There were lots of great riding, great people, fabulous ponies and with some great ribbons to top it off!

Another great show at Caledon Silver! We are so lucky to have such a great group of horses and riders to spend these shows with.

And good luck to all who are attending Silver 3 at Angelstone this week, where a group of the Shadowlane team is competing in the Wild Card spots. Hope everyone has a fabulous derby day!

Three horse shows down before its even June!? Its been a busy month for Shadowlane's show team with several early season shows. We attended Silver Central 1 and 2 at CEP and Southwest Millside Trillium show #1.

Its been a great start to the 2024 show season with many new partnerships making their show debuts and returning horse and rider pairs aiming for new goals this season! I want to thank all of the riders, parents, siblings, friends and family members who attended these shows. You have all shown incredible horsemanship and care for your equine partners, sportsmanship towards other riders, patience on long show days, and grit in less then pristine weather these last three shows and the Shadowlane Team couldn't be prouder.

We look forward to more shows to come this season!
