Meet Yogie — the Golden‑Hearted Goofball Looking for His Fresh Start

Yogie is a 3‑year‑old Golden Retriever cross, neutered, house‑trained, and absolutely overflowing with happy energy. He’s an easy‑going, people‑loving, dog‑friendly guy who still has plenty of puppy excitement in him — the fun kind that makes every day brighter.

Meet Maisie — the 37‑lb Brindle Button of Joy

Maisie is a spayed female Boxer cross with the most adorable brown brindle coat and a personality that’s equal parts spunky and sweet. She starts off a little shy, but once she warms up, she’s all wiggles, smiles, and happy energy.

She loves people, adores other dogs, and even lived peacefully with a cat, making her a wonderful fit for many types of homes. At just 37 lbs, she’s the perfect “fun‑sized” companion for adventures, couch time, and everything in between.

Maisie was found abandoned in an apartment but she hasn't lost hope in people and she has a kind heart. Maisie is ready to bring joy, laughter, and her signature Boxer charm to a family who will help her blossom with love and patience.

How is Destiny still looking for a new family? This 5 year old Shih Tzu has had a fair amount of medical care during her time here including dentistry and care for her untreated ear infection. She will need regular grooming to upkeep her care and prevent future infections.

Destiny gets along really well with people, cats, and other dogs. We believe she's housetrained, knows to come when called, knows sit and is working on learning lie down.

Noni arrived to us after she was an unclaimed pound dog. The pound-keeper believed she may have been an abandoned breeding dog. She is a 5 year old Golden Retriever. We believe she hasn't had much socialization as she startles very easily with sudden or loud noises.

Noni is so very sweet and she has been working on her house skills. She comes when she's called now and has been practicing her leash manners but she still has a habit of jumping up on you for comfort when she becomes frightened.

Noni gets along splendidly with other dogs, likes cats, and loves people. She will need a family who is willing to help her feel more comfortable with 'pet' life. Noni is not housetrained.

Noni has had dentistry and 6 broken teeth were removed. She has been spayed, is vaccinated and microchipped.

Ranger was left behind when his owners moved. He is 4 years old and eager to meet his new family!

Ranger has begun his training classes here at Outrun and is doing well. He loves other dogs and was living with a cat in his previous home. Although Ranger loves all people, we believe he should avoid young children due to his over-exuberant attitude. We are working on teaching him to keep 4 on the floor but he is so excited to jump up and kiss your face!

Jerry Lee's young owner passed away following health complications, leaving 3 year old Jerry to himself. A large (96 lbs!) Shepherd cross, this big man would love nothing more than to find someone of his own.

Jerry is building some knowledge about how to walk nicely on a leash and has started his basic obedience. He participates in our group classes nicely however doesn't much know what to do yet. He seems to get along well with all people and dogs, however he has not yet been tested with cats.

Our queen‑in‑training Elsa is looking for her forever kingdom. She’s already blessed us with warm hugs, and is looking to melt some hearts in her new home. Elsa charms everyone she met with her sparkle, her sense of humor, and her goofy grin.

We are hoping to find the right adopter who can help Elsa let it go and step into a life full of love, adventure, and cozy snuggles.

Elsa is estimated to be a 1 year old bully cross. Her favorite game is tug of war and she has been practising controlling her over-excitement! True to a typical bully breed, Elsa plays roughly with both dogs and people. She is learning that we don't appreciate the body checks because of this, we would suggest older children (13+) or adults in her new home.

Elsa does well in our group training classes and has been working on her basic obedience skills as well as increasing her attention span.

Destiny is a friendly Shih Tzu cross who arrived to us in need of some medical care. She had severe dental disease which required the removal of multiple teeth. She is able to eat normally now that her mouth is feeling better.

In addition to her dental issues, Destiny suffered from prolonged and chronic ear infections. Although she is currently infection free, her new owners should plan on maintenance cleanings and expect monthly trips to the groomer to clear out the excess hair in her ears and give them a good clean out.

Destiny is estimated to be 5 years old. She is good with people and other animals. Although she has been participating in our weekly training sessions, she much prefers the relaxing tone of our group walks where she can interact freely with the other dogs.

Hi, my name is Guinness! If you look real closely my coat resembles that well known stout.

I am a high energy boy. I’m told I’m some form of bully mix with hound. I’ve been told that my hind legs are like coiled springs because I like to pop up and say hi to you at your eye level, while maybe (likely🙃) leaving some goober on your shoulder.

Once I get all my zoomies out I am a loveable boy who likes to snuggle, lean on you and be your shadow. I’m hoping to find a family or an individual who would enjoy burning energy with me on a regular basis and maybe ending our day on a patio with a pint or two.

I’m good with other dogs but I've been told I can be a little intense. I haven't met a cat yet but my friends here at Outrun think I am probably too excitable for most cats.

Unfortunately, not every puppy gets a gentle start. “Little Bean” moved into her new home at 9 weeks old and within her first week, an interaction with the resident dog resulted in a broken jaw. Her story is a powerful reminder of how vulnerable young puppies are.

Little Bean’s recovery included medical management for several weeks after her jaw was set and she was syringe fed for the first while. After almost 1.5 months of watered-down canned food, Little Bean will be able to try her first pieces of kibble (soon!

Safe introductions matter. Thoughtful management and supervision can prevent accidents and set your puppy up for positive experiences. Every “new friend” your puppy meets — resident dogs, cats, kids, visitors — becomes part of her early learning. She’s figuring out how to interact, what’s safe, and what good manners look like in each relationship.

Bringing home a new puppy is pure joy but for your puppy, it’s a huge life change. Just days ago, she was surrounded by her mom, her littermates, and everything familiar. Now she’s in a brand new world with new people, new animals, new routines, and lots to learn.

Keeping this in mind helps us approach those first weeks with patience and empathy. Everyone in the home plays a role in helping a puppy feel safe, supported, and understood. Your puppy is learning a whole new world. With guidance, structure, and safety, you can help her thrive.

Little Bean is a busy puppy who will need a family who can help teach her that large dogs are not a threat.
