Perfect little Shelby was in today for her Annual Spring Heartworm testing & she was the perfect patient!

Shelby made sure to pick out one of Tracy's Mother's crochet blankets for herself on her way in. This gal definitely has good taste!

As some of you may know, Tracy's Mother has been crocheting little blankets for our patients for years that she donates to the Hospital.

She always wants to make sure any cats & dogs get a little extra cozy on the way home (or in Shelby's case on the way in to the room as well 🥰).

She certainly brightened up our day today!

Look who is visiting today!
Did you know that Cat’s can get Asthma?
What you are hearing from Jason’s very unusual purr is Asthma!

The Three Main Features of Asthma are inflammation & hyper-responsiveness of the Airway & reduced Airflow.

Jason’s Asthma is mostly noticeable when he purrs & you hear the very deep wheezing. At the end of this video you can see what looks like he may want to produce a hairball, but this is actually his Asthma!

Jason has been treated with an inhaler & he has a very fancy (at his insistence 😺)air purifier at home that makes a world of difference for his symptoms!

If you are noticing any changes with your Feline baby, similar to what you are seeing in this video, please make an appointment!

Other than Jason’s deep Contralto purr that sometimes startles new people he demands pets from, he is unbothered when managed properly! 🐈‍⬛

Georgie is a 2.5 year old spayed female cat looking for a new home due to changes in her owners living circumstances. She came to her current owners after being adopted from the SPCA. She had been treated for several month for a severe burn on the back of her neck.

She was a little shy when she first came to her family but her inquisitive nature helped her to come out of her shell. In the clinic she is very social and curious. She has a large scar on the back of her neck after healing from the burn, but she doesn't let that slow her down at all.

She is a very lovely girl that would do best in a quiet home with no other cats (they were originally told she did not like other cats). We are not sure how she feels about dogs or other animals. She is up to date on vaccinations and had a clean bill of health at her most recent visit.
