It doesn't seem like much...
but it's a lot more than what the naked I can see.
What I see in the second clip is...
• Timber has relaxed hips.
• He is watching, but has no intent to bounce and come towards me.
• I am able to pick up objects.
• I do not have to mainline eye contact to hold his stay.
• He does not get up when I go to treat him.
• He redirected his attention into scratching or sniffing his fur.
• He was told the command once and did not have to be told a second time to perform.
• I was able to take steps away from him and move freely.
Of course, I could be naming a list that goes on and on of every little detail he did. I acknowledge that this is a very, very small step but small steps.
I'll add up to a big milestone!
You must remember that he is still a puppy, so his band is not going to be as long, but he is doing quite well and we are working on moving further and farther away when he is told to stay!
