Hello there, I’m looking for someone who has an appointment for Molly the Shih Tzu tomorrow morning at 8 AM. If you could contact me privately, I would appreciate it as I cannot find Molly‘s card and I need to reschedule your appointment as my mother is in the hospital.

UPDATE JULY 12: FOSTER HOME FOUND!

FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT URGENTLY NEEDED!

Boxer mix Moka has been with Kiko since last year, with sadly no offers of adoption. This friendly, fun-loving senior had lost the only home he ever knew due to divorce. He had been brought to an overcrowded shelter, where he found himself on the euthanasia list because of his age and lack of space. Shelter staff saw the potential in sweet Moka, and he was transferred to Kiko. After a stint in foster care, Moka then had to go to a boarding kennel when his foster moved and couldn’t bring him along. While he is getting great care, we would love to get him out of boarding and into a home where he belongs as soon as possible.

Moka is about 10 but don’t tell him, because he still loves to play fetch like a puppy. He weighs around 70 pounds, is friendly when meeting new people, healthy, housetrained, and good with other dogs. Moka is well behaved indoors, and can be left alone when his people are out without issue.

Moka’s personality has shown us that he adapts readily to new people, and that he just wants to be loved. Senior dogs need homes too, and we know that he’ll make a great pet and companion for someone looking to give an adult dog a second chance.
