On A Whim Farm has a couple of outdoor board spots available.
Located in Hillsdale, close to Barrie, Orillia and Midland.
We offer ample paddock space to roam, shelter, home grown netted bales, automatic waters, indoor arena, outdoor sand ring, access to trails from our property, heated tack room, washroom with hot water and shower, wash stall ( almost complete), on site coaching, onsite CEMT, MagnaWave practitioner,
management lives on site.
Graining and supplements, blanketing can be arranged.
Come join our happy herd!

So I guess I have a new pet. Meet Fredo. He is a registered racing pigeon. I contacted the owner by tracing him from the birds band. He is in Saskatchewan 😞
I left him out in the hopes that he would fly away. But I think he is injured. So for now he is safe with food and water. I will contact the CPU organization in Ontario on Monday and figure out what’s best this little traveller.

To all my equine owners and canine friends, I will be available for some MagnaWave PEMF appointments between September 12 and October 1 st. Not sure what MagnaWave PEMF can do? MagnaWave helps reduce inflamation, aids a horse in the post-workout routine by assisting in recovery and reducing the soreness associated with muscle strain and lactic acid build up. PEMF can assist in healing soft tissue injuries in a shorter period of time. Provides overall relaxation.
I have portable massage bed for my rider clients as well 😉
MagnaWave made a significant difference for some clients with knee replacements, back issues, tennis/golfers elbow to relieve pain and expedite healing.

Fabulous hacking today. Left from the farm. Out for two spectacular hours. Horses were amazing. Thank you to my wonderful boarders Dan and Laura for lending Winston to us for our tour. He is the perfect trail buddy for Fe.

We Are Hiring!
On A Whim Farm is looking to hire one full-time team member to step in as our wonderful dedicated current staff head back to university.
Duties include but are not limited to
Stall mucking
General barn cleaning
Paddock maintenance
Feeding
Turn out/in
Property maintenance and grass cutting
Grooming and tacking up as requested
Operating large farm equipment

The successful candidate Must be reliable. Have their own transportation. Be willing to work one day of the weekend and some stat holidays. ( horses require care 365 days a year)
Preferably have horse experience but we are willing to train the right person.
We offer a fun working environment. Above average pay for barn work. Possible benefit package after 6 mths. Opportunity to advance your horsemanship skills. Work with Eponaquest instructors.
