Pearl came to us as a foster because she needed a buddy and PP loves spending time with our fosters. Albeit a little socially awkward, he’s ultimately a gentle giant and exactly the kind of friend Pearl needed.

It’s wild to think about how different Pearl’s story could have been. A hoarding situation. Euthanasia. Raising a litter of kittens.

We are so grateful to for giving her the space to decompress and start learning that the world could be kind again. Soon, Pearl will be heading to her forever home and it all started with someone opening a small space in their home to a foster cat in need.

New floors for our foster room, this is going to be a game changer for the animals we care for.

We went with premium quality luxury vinyl from Excelsior, durable, easy to clean, and perfect for rescue life.

A huge thank you to .ca for making this project quick and easy, for helping us choose the right flooring for this space, and for their dedication to help us help animals during a busy rescue month 💜💚💛

And of course to the project meownagement team for overseeing the installation from start to finish, which took about 4 hours!

Anyone else have a cat who is obsessed with bum smacks?

Lu is addicted. She hunts me down and makes sure I follow her to her spot, all day long. I can’t get to the kitchen in the morning for coffee without passing her spot. I come home from work and she promptly gets up from her nap spot. It’s hilarious because she will truly watch and make sure I’m following. She sounds so angry during but if I stop she lets her feelings be known. When I say Every. Damn. Day. ALL DAY! I’m not exaggerating. Oh how I love you, my quirky little Lunatic 💜
