Welcome to the best cherry u-pick around! Our orchard was originally planted in 1948! Hi cherry fans-welcome to the best u-pick cherries around!

When we are open we are here every day from 8am to 1pm during this extreme heat. We recommend coming early in the day for best quality cherries and picking experience. Children are encouraged but no pets please

We have everything you need-buckets,stools and ladders. We will pack your fruit in bags and, for larger quantities we have boxes available for purchase. There is a portable toilet on site

but please remember to bring water to drink and sunscreen! Our beautiful old orchard was originally planted in 1948 and many of those original trees are still producing lovely fruit! Yes we have a few yellow cherry trees ( Rainiers) but they will be picked for sale, sorry no u-pick on that variety. They are generally ready at the beginning of our season. We have Vans, Rainiers, Bings, Lamberts, Lapins and Skeenas...generally ripening in that order. Looking forward to seeing all our returning and new customers this year! Hey cherry fans, don't think we're done yet! The cool July weather..up till now anyways!! ..has kept our lovely cherries firm and beautiful. Still a group of full ,loaded trees waiting to be picked! No admission fees, minimum or maximums...just$4/lb for what you pick. Our huge old trees are keeping the orchard shady and cool and cherry quality is amazing! Definitely picking everyday from 8am to 2pm till Friday...might even make it to Saturday but that will be it. In a year when everyone has lots of cherries, it is wonderful to have the massive size as well! Come see and taste the difference in a Mike and Lizzy's cherry

Hey cherry fans..this will be our last week!! Picking beautiful big dark red lapin cherries...full loaded trees but it won't go on forever so come check us out from 8am to 2 everyday this week. No admission charges,limits or minimums, just pay for what you pick by weight...$4/lb.
Oh and Pam the cherry goddess was visited by more cherry queens today..look at that jewelry!!
Picking is always sweet and fun at Mike and Lizzy's!

Ok cherry fans,we are still open everyday from 8am till 2pm for this weekend and into next week! Lots of big sweet lapins and juicy lamberts to pick! No admission, $4/lb for all red cherries . Trees are loaded and cherry size is exceptional!
Plan on coming early to avoid the heat and lineups. See you in the orchard

Hey cherry fans, this cloudy morning is perfect picking weather!!! And we are starting Lapins today! Trees are loaded with big gorgeous sweet fruit,No admission charges, $4/lb for you to pick! Also we still have those big crunchy Skeenas, same price as Lapins,$4/lb. Just a couple of days left for the Rainiers, those are prepicked only and $7/ lb. Our big old trees are a lovely place to spend your morning if you can't go to the beach!!

Our Story

Hi cherry fans-welcome to the best u-pick cherries around!

Our orchard was originally planted in 1948 and some of those beautiful big old trees are still here producing delicious cherries. Tucked away in the mission area of Kelowna, our gorgeous lakeview orchard features 6 different varieties of sweet cherries, from the always popular Vans and Bings to juicy Lamberts, big Lapins, crunchy Skeenas and firm sweet yellow Rainiers.

Our season normally starts early July and lasts about 3 weeks from opening. At this point we are guessing we will start around July 10th to the 15th but weather can change that date so please check this site for updates. Once we are open we are here every day from 8am to 2pm unless it's raining. We recommend coming early in the day while it is the coolest for best quality cherries and picking experience. Children are encouraged but no pets please We have everything you need-buckets,stools and ladders. We will pack your fruit in bags and, for larger quantities we have boxes available for purchase. As we have such a short season, we are a cash only business so please plan ahead. Please remember to bring water to drink and sunscreen!

This year will be a little different due to Covid 19. In line with health regulations regarding groups, we will have to limit the number of people in the orchard to allow for social distancing and safety for staff and customers. Groups must be no larger than 6 people. Only customers planning to pick will be allowed in and we are requesting that customers “pick and go” to allow for more people to get the chance to enter. As per Provincial guidelines, no more than 50 people(including staff) are allowed in at a time. Please do not come if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, coughing or sneezing. We recommend that everyone wears a non-medical face mask and bring hand-sanitizer if possible. We will be sanitizing picking equipment and buckets between customers. We ask that customers respect each other and follow our rules so that it is an enjoyable and safe experience for everyone. Please check back after June 28th and we should be able to give a more accurate start date. Looking forward to seeing all our returning and new customers in 2020! See you in the orchard!
