Many of you already know Avery, she first joined us as a high school co-op student and quickly became an essential part of our team as a summer kennel attendant. Her passion for animal care and eagerness to learn have truly stood out!

Avery is always ready to lend a hand during appointments and procedures, making sure your pets get the comfort, cuddles, and treats they deserve. 🐶🐱

Bryanna is one of the friendly faces you’ve likely seen assisting during your pet’s appointments or greeting you at our front desk!

Since joining March Road Veterinary Hospital in 2022, Bryanna has been a true multitasker - helping start appointments, supporting our reception team, and carefully monitoring patients during procedures. Her passion for learning is always shining through. Lately, she's been diving into pet nutrition so she can be a knowledgeable resource for all your prescription diet questions. 🐶🐱

Bryanna brings an infectious energy, a sharp sense of humor, and a big heart to our clinic every day. Her love for animals is unmatched, especially when it comes to bully breeds, which hold a special place in her heart. 💙

🎉 Celebrating Veterinary Assistant Week – Meet Cameron! 🐾
We’re kicking off Veterinary Assistant Week by recognizing one of our amazing team members, Cameron!

Many of you may already know Cameron as a vital part of our surgery team here at March Road Veterinary Hospital. She plays a key role in ensuring our surgical patients receive the highest level of care, from monitoring them before, during, and after surgery, to sterilizing surgical equipment and keeping our surgery ward impeccably organized. 🏥

Cameron’s impact doesn’t stop there! She’s also a powerhouse in our laboratory. She runs blood and urine samples, keeps our lab equipment calibrated and in top condition. Cameron also manages lab supply inventory and ordering. 💉🔬

Cameron joined us back in 2020, and her dedication, attention to detail, and compassion for animals make her an irreplaceable part of our team.

Thank you Cameron for everything you do! We’re so lucky to have you! 💙

You may remember our amazing high school co-op student, Avery. We’re excited to share that she’s joined our team for the summer as a Kennel Attendant! 🐾

You will see Avery lending a helping hand around the hospital, from the waiting room to the exam rooms, and assisting with day-to-day tasks. Be sure to say a warm hello when you see her!👋

And speaking of familiar faces, you may have noticed a certain furry friend in many of our team photos. Meet Gillie! 💛

Gillie is one of our beloved technician’s pets who comes to work with her every day. At 13 years young, Gillie is our wise and gentle hospital companion and a cherished part of our team. 🐶

🌞 Heat Wave Update: Relief Is in Sight! 🌡️

We’ve been in the grip of a heat wave for the past 48 hours, and while it's been tough, good news—temperatures are expected to drop starting tomorrow! 🙌

Until then, please remember to keep your pets cool and safe for the rest of the day:

🐾 NEVER leave your pet in a parked car.

🐾 Limit outdoor time – Walk your dog early in the morning or after sunset when it’s cooler.

🐾 Hydration is key – Make sure your pets have access to fresh, cool water at all times.

🐾 Watch for signs of heatstroke – excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse.

🐾 Paw protection – Pavement and asphalt can burn paws! Test with your hand—if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them.
