This sweet boy recently underwent a stenotic nares correction using our CO₂ laser. Stenotic nares are narrowed nostrils that can make breathing more difficult, especially in brachycephalic breeds (French Bulldogs/Pugs).

Using our CO₂ laser allows for precise tissue removal with little to no bleeding and swelling, helping improve airflow and comfort.

The nostril on the left shows the “before,” while the right shows the immediate result after surgery!

Chester came in this afternoon for his first exam with Dr. Robert Olender and we’d say it was a success! 🐾

He enjoyed relaxing in the chair with a great view, lots of tasty treats, and an enzymatic chew to finish off his visit on a positive note. We love making first appointments low stress, comfortable, and even enjoyable for our patients. Chester was such a sweet boy throughout his exam! 💙
