I was wondering why the pigeons always bath at the same time so I asked AI:

"Evolutionary Safety Triggers: In the wild, bathing is the most dangerous event of a bird's day because wet feathers make escaping predators much harder. Evolution has taught them that bathing completely alone is a death sentence. Even though your aviary is safe, their instincts dictate that they must only lower their guard and get wet if they have the protection of the crowd."

Makes sense! ;)

Last year I lost my dearest pigeon, Angel. I had a bond with her most couldn't understand. It was so difficult for me that I couldn't even post about it. She is still in my personal profile pic too.
But since that time, Buddy here has really stepped into that void. 🥰 He is obsessed with me whenever I'm around and calls to me constantly. It's like Angel's soul passed to him. And I'm grateful for the unconditional love he gives. ❤

Was able to save this cute newt from Rose. Who was running with it in her mouth as the rest of the chickens were chasing her.
I think she got some of it's tail, but otherwise seemed OK luckily.
