“Hi, I’m Edith (but you can call me Eddie).

I’m a young black female Sphynx looking for my forever person. I’m not just a cat — I’m a tiny heart on legs, a professional snuggler, and a certified kiss expert… especially the 3 a.m. kind (because it’s just been way too long since I last said “I love you,” right?).

I’m playful, sensitive, and always glued to my humans — under the covers, on your lap, or right next to your water glass (which I might also drink from, just so you know).

I had to return to the cattery because I got sick, and the vets at the time couldn’t figure out what was wrong.

After lots of tests, care, and love, we found out I have a severe chicken allergy. I’m now doing great on a raw, poultry-free diet — so you’ll need to keep that in mind: no chicken treats, kibbles, or sneaky hidden ingredients.

I get along well with kids, cats, and dogs, as long as I eat separately if the others have a different diet. But what I love most of all is to be loved — deeply, endlessly, and with all your heart.

If you’re looking for a hairless bundle of love who’s full of affection, I might just be the little soulmate you’ve been missing.

Had a great day yesterday! Amazing turn out for the scan clinic, and everyone scanned free and clear for yet another heat! Loved seeing a few adoptive families babies yesterday too! Remember, scanning isn’t just for us breeders, it’s the only way to preventatively check for hcm to be able to catch it at an early stage.

Thank you again to Fundy Fancier Cat Club for putting these clinics on, can’t wait to see everyone again next year!

Location: Hôpital Vétérinaire de Shediac Veterinary Hospital

Veterinarian: Dr. Bruno Boutet, Board Certified Veterinary Cardiologist
Event Details:
* Cost: $275 plus taxes (Total: $316.25) Must be paid in advance and is non-refundable.

* Capacity: Spaces available for 30 cats
*
* Time: Appointments start at approximately 9 AM
*
Important Instructions:
* Arrival:
* Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to avoid delays.
*
* Appointment Duration:
* Each appointment will last 10-15 minutes.
*
* Procedure:
* - Owners are required to wait outside.
* - A technician will es**rt one patient at a time from the door to ensure a smooth and organized process.
* - Post-examination, the technician will return the form and the cat to the owner.
* - Dr. Boutet will only speak with owners if there are significant findings needing brief discussion.
*
* Safety Measures:
* The hospital doors will remain locked throughout the event to ensure safety and minimize access.
*
* Booking Appointments:
* CCA-AFC members will have priority over non-members
*
* To book an appointment, complete the attached form and return it via email to [email protected].
*
* Appointments will be scheduled based on the order in which the forms are received.
*
* Dr. Boutet’s staff will contact you to confirm your appointment time and take payment.

* Results and Database Submission:
* All results can be submitted to the PawPeds Health Database if the form is signed PRIOR to the scan.

* Once signed, all results, whether positive or negative, will be submitted to the database.

* If the form is not signed, Dr. Boutet will provide a confirmation of the scan results only.

* Additional Notes:
* In cases of abnormal findings, there will not be time for an in-depth diagnostic echocardiogram. Brief notes and a short discussion (if time permits) will be provided.

* If more extensive echocardiographic studies are needed, a follow-up appointment may be required at a later date. Hopefully, such occurrences will be rare.
