Dogwood Animal Rescue is a registered charity animal rescue based in Guelph/Puslinch Ontario - Canada Adoption fee for a single kitten: $300
Adoption fee for a pair of kitten: $500
*Please note that the adoption fee covers over 400$ worth of veterinary costs for a single kitten and over 800$ worth of veterinary costs

for a pair of kittens including but not limited to:

Meet Mrs. Potts! 🐈‍⬛🌹

This sweet 1½-year-old girl is a playful little whirlwind with a whole lot of love to give!

Mrs. Potts is happiest when she’s on the move, chasing her favourite toys, pouncing on anything that catches her eye, and zooming around the house. She’s playful, affectionate, and guaranteed to keep you entertained!

She would especially thrive in a home with another friendly, playful cat who can be her partner in crime. Wrestling, chasing, and burning off energy together? Yes, please!

After a busy day of adventures, Mrs. Potts is more than happy to curl up in a cozy bed and recharge before she’s ready for her next adventure.

Mrs. Potts is spayed, fully vaccinated with RCCP and rabies, FIV and FeLV negative, microchipped, and on parasite prevention.

Meet Alya & Kenzaki!

Alya is a black Domestic Shorthair female who is approximately 1 year old.

Kenzaki is a black Domestic Shorthair male who is approximately 1 year old!

These two have been making incredible progress in their foster home and have very different personalities that complement each other so well.

Kenzaki is the more outgoing of the two. He is curious, playful, and becoming quite the little explorer! He loves finding new toys, playing on his cat tree, and being close to his people. He’ll happily come looking for pets and may even walk across your laptop to make sure you give him some attention!

Alya is a little more independent and laid-back. She is perfectly happy doing her own thing but loves quietly watching what her people are up to. Once she’s comfortable, she enjoys pets, brushing, wand toys, and especially loves hunting and playing with Kenzaki. She may even fall asleep while getting pets!

Together, they love exploring, playing on their cat tree, and keeping each other company. They would do best in a quiet, laid-back home where they can continue to build their confidence.

Alya and Kenzaki would love to be adopted together, or into a home with another young, social cat who can keep them company.

Alya is spayed and Kenzaki is neutered. Both are vaccinated, parasite treated, dewormed, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $300 or $550 for the pair.

Meet Gemini! 🖤

This beautiful 2-year-old black Domestic Shorthair may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet, curious, and very chatty personality starts to shine!

Gemini’s favourite thing is pretending to be your shadow. She loves following you around the house, keeping you company, rubbing against your legs, and chatting away with her people. When she’s feeling comfortable, she’ll even flop over for pets!

She’s also quite the little explorer. Open a drawer and you can bet Gemini will be there investigating! And in the mornings, she gets the zoomies and races around to start her day.

Gemini absolutely loves playing with other cats and would do well with a friendly feline companion who she can play with and learn from. She may be shy at first, but having another social cat around could help her continue building confidence.

Gemini needs an extremely patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her set the pace. In return, you’ll get a sweet little shadow who wants to follow you everywhere and keep you company.

She would likely do well with other cats and dogs with a slow and proper introduction.

Gemini is spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, and on parasite prevention. Her adoption fee is $300.

Somehow, JK is still waiting for someone to give him a chance. This handsome 4-month-old tabby has a BIG personality and even bigger energy!

JK is very, very high energy and is always ready to play, wrestle, chase toys, explore, and get into whatever is happening around him. He’s also incredibly affectionate, with a loud purr that starts the second he gets attention. When he finally takes a break from his adventures, you’ll often find him perched by the window watching the world go by.

Because of his energy level, JK needs another young, social, VERY high-energy cat who can truly match his play style. He needs a confident feline friend who can keep up with him, play as hard as he does, and isn’t afraid to set boundaries when he gets a little too enthusiastic.

JK also has a chronic upper respiratory condition (URI), meaning he may occasionally be sneezy or have some nasal discharge. His symptoms come and go and currently do not affect his quality of life. His adopters should be prepared to provide supportive care and maintain regular veterinary guidance.

He is neutered, vaccinated, parasite treated, dewormed, and microchipped. He will still need his booster and rabies vaccines after adoption, which will be the responsibility of his adopters.

We’ve shared these beautiful sisters before, but after almost 6 months in our care, they’re still waiting for someone to choose them.

Yuki & Masha may take a little time to trust new people, but once they feel safe, their sweet personalities shine. Yuki loves rubbing against your legs and getting neck scratches, while Masha loves attention and playtime. And wherever they are, they have each other.

They just need someone patient enough to give them a chance. These girls deserve to know what it feels like to finally be home.

Meet Aramis!🖤

Aramis is a 3-month-old black Domestic Medium Hair who is ready to find her forever home! This little girl is curious, playful, and absolutely hilarious.

Aramis loves late-night snuggles, climbing cat trees, perching up high, and being involved in absolutely everything her foster family is doing. She has no boundaries, she’ll even try to lick your eyelids or steal food right out of your hands!

This little void loves playing and wrestling with her foster siblings, so she must be adopted into a home with another young, playful cat who can keep up with her and help her continue learning and growing.

Aramis does have a sensitive stomach and is currently doing very well on a sensitive stomach diet. Wet food and treats may need to remain limited to keep her tummy happy.

Aramis is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, parasite treated, and dewormed. She will still require her booster vaccines after adoption.

Meet Esme and Rosalie!

Esme & Rosalie are two beautiful 1 year old black Domestic Medium Hair girls who share a very special bond and must be adopted together. 🐾🐾

These sweet girls can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience, kindness, and time, they are learning that they are safe and loved. Watching them slowly come out of their shells is incredibly rewarding. ❤️

Esme is the more timid of the two and needs a little extra time to feel comfortable. Once she trusts you, her gentle and affectionate personality begins to shine. She loves having Rosalie nearby and takes comfort from her presence.

Rosalie is the braver girl and often helps Esme feel more confident. Once she’s comfortable, she’s happy to come over, gently nudge your hand, and ask for some well-deserved pets.

Together, these girls truly bring out the best in each other. They are each other’s source of comfort and reassurance and love spending time relaxing side by side.

Esme & Rosalie are looking for a calm, patient, and loving home where they can settle in at their own pace. They may not be the girls who immediately run up to greet you, but if you’re willing to give them time, you’ll get to experience the incredibly special moment when they realize they can trust you.

Despite their mischievous names, Havoc & Mayhem are sweet, affectionate, playful girls who love cuddles, chasing wand toys, exploring, and being part of whatever you’re doing.

These two need a young, playful companion to chase, wrestle, and burn off their kitten energy. They can be adopted together, with another kitten friend, or into a home with a young, energetic cat. Mayhem may also do well with a playful, cat-friendly dog.

They are spayed, fully vaccinated with RCCP and rabies, FIV and FeLV negative, microchipped, and on parasite prevention.

We honestly hoped that by now, someone would have fallen in love with these two beautiful girls. But sadly, Zooble & Bubble still haven’t received a single application.

These girls are approximately 2 years old and deeply bonded, so they must be adopted together. Their special friendship began while raising their kittens side by side, and they have continued to be each other’s comfort and companionship ever since.

🐾 Zooble is a sweet, affectionate black Domestic Shorthair who loves attention, pets, cuddles, and letting you know exactly when she wants some extra love.

🐾 Bubbles is a curious, playful grey tabby who loves exploring, toys, scratches, and being part of whatever is happening around her.

They deserve a home where they can finally feel chosen, loved, and safe together. Two sweet girls, one special bond, and still no one has said, “They’re the ones.”

We are looking for compassionate foster homes to help us rescue and care for rabbits in need. When you foster with us, you provide the safe space, patience, and love, while we provide all supplies along with guidance and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Never fostered before? That’s completely okay! Our experienced mentors will be there to support you every step of the way.

By opening your home, you’re giving a rabbit the chance to decompress, build confidence, and prepare for their forever family. Foster homes are one of the most impactful ways you can help a rescue animal.
