November is the perfect time to think about your small dog’s cold weather needs. 🍂

Smaller and short-coated breeds feel the drop in temperature much faster than larger dogs and may need a little extra help staying comfortable on outdoor walks.

A well-fitted dog sweater or coat can make a big difference in how much they actually enjoy being outside this season. 🐾

Crisp air, crunchy leaves, and a pup who is absolutely living their best life. Fall walks are genuinely one of the best things about having a dog. They make you get outside even when you'd rather stay in and for that we are eternally grateful. 🧡

Did you know cats can actually sense the season changing before you do? 🍂

Shorter daylight hours trigger shifts in your cat's behavior, appetite, and sleep patterns. You might notice them eating a little more, sleeping longer, or seeking out warmer spots around the house as October sets in. It's completely normal and just their body responding to the change in light. 🐱

That thick double coat is gorgeous but it comes with some responsibility! 🍂🐾

Shelties and other double-coated breeds actually shed more heavily during seasonal transitions, and October is prime time for it. Regular brushing during fall helps remove loose undercoat, prevents matting, and keeps their skin healthy going into winter. A good deshedding routine now saves your furniture later. 😂
