Please note. Some clients have contacted me concerned This dog has not been to the kennel before or after it was infected. Your dogs that have been staying with me are not a concern of being infected. Below is info only to let you know the area to be aware of that the dog had been walking in. Have some sad news. News that I need to share with all the dog families on the Sunshine Coast❤️ Tragically a clients k9 companion became very ill last week after going for a walk in some local trails, and succumbed to its illness. We just heard back from them and got the o.k. to pass this message on. The test results came back positive for k9 coronavirus and Strep zoo. Strep zoo is a bacteria that is more common in horses, but can be passed on to dogs from the environment were an infected horse has coughed or sneezed then it can be passed on from dog to dog. This is highly contagious and believed the dog may have come in contact with it in the Day Road, Day road loop trails in Roberts Creek. It can live in environment about 3-17 days depending on conditions. The first signs the owner noticed was the dog coughing. With in a few days of going for the walk the dog was very ill. If you have concerns please talk to your vet. Our deepest sympathy to the K9 companions family from all of us at Nopawblems. Sending our love❤️🐾❤️

Surprise! Thelma isn't a doodle, she's a Barbet! The Barbet has been bred for centuries as a bird dog. They originated in France and can be traced back to the 16th century.
They are a healthy, happy and friendly medium sized breed. Their long dense coat looks very similar to that of the typical doodle but it is MUCH more manageable and can be trimmed to look however you please!
Grooming Thelma has been such a pleasure and has made me an advocate and lover of the breed. I wish I could groom a hundred of them!
